I dont get these things, why do i want to know what weather is like outside? i can just look out of the window.

Also when temperatures go below 0 people make so much of it "oh look its -10 degrees wowww"..my answer "mmmm yes its cold thats why i am sat inside"

another useless contraption.

Read the description again it tells you alot more than what you can just see with your eyes outside your window. It will also be able to forecast weather with the outdoor temps & humidity as changes occur. Heat from me.

I've got one, a bit more expensive than this one though - does more stuff, but I wouldn't be without it - it's great!

I'm with mark7402 in this. I don't get why I'd need it I'm sure the forecasts are 'even' less accurate than those from the professionals.

But. It's seems a decent price so I'll give it some hot weather.

Excuse me being thick, but when it says 'Sunday special buys 7th November' does it mean it's only on sale on Sunday, or from Sunday, or now until Sunday...

(I'm not an Aldi regular, as you can guess)

Seems a great price to me, another christmas pressie sorted, thanx Op have some heat..

Yet another gadget i won't be able to resist, and will probably use for a month or so but heat added as it's a great price

I would be gutted to get one of these for Xmas! LOL

From 7th

The display looks pretty dim.
How long do the batteries last?

Not much use as a weather station - all it is, is a simple thermometer - no rain, or humidty or wind measurements. You can get the same functions for a couple of quid. Junk

Wow, you want rain AND wind measurements too for £17.99! I'm surprised you didn't say "voted cold cos it's not 1080p and it's made by an unknown brand."

It does do humidity, you should have gone to Spec Savers!
# Wireless transmission of outdoor temperature and humidity.

Some people were born to irritate others, good to see your doing a good job!

If for one reason only, worth every penny - you are sitting in the warm room, about to go out soon, and you know precisely if the car will be potentially iced up, and you are prepared before you even leave, pick up the scraper or de-icer and you can leave earlier to have time to defrost the car, even if you can't see it form inside, mine has saved me time and effort, many times.

I do however prefer one with a barometer function, as that is handy to know whether or not the pressure is rising or falling which lets you know if the rain or storm is actually on the way; or if already in a bad patch whether it is about finished, or ongoing.

I love mine, I use it as a doorstop.

What a joke they can call this a "Weather Station" when it can't even measure anything about wind or rainfall. Its just a clock and thermometer by the look of it.

Well it's not going to be providing forecasts on BBC 1, but it does measure what it claims to measure, including humidity you don't mention. It's 18 quid so is hardly more expensive than a clock, in which case no-one is exactly getting ripped off, it doesn't claim to be a work weather measuring centre.

Perhaps you would be happier with something like this:

If this does the same as the one I got from ALDI a while back, it will provide info on the following:
Indoor humidity
Indoor temp
Outdoor humidity
Outdoor temp
Atmospheric pressure
Pressure trend i.e. up for good weather or down for bad
Weather prediction i.e. sun rain storm etc
Sunrise and sunset
Phase of the moon
Tide
Clock (linked to some place in Europe, so always spot on!)
Alarm
Now that’s a lot for 18 quid!

Yes, that's like mine, but I don't think this is quite such a good spec.

Picked one up but not very accurate, I have the station and external sensor next to each other and there is a difference of 1 degree!
