Person who just voted cold, why? bad experience or other reason?

I voted cold because it's a third party seller @ £193.95

Third party sellers are not allowed on here

Much better to buy the 500gb version from John Lewis £199 delivered

Opps.......

I was asking more on the product itself then being a third party seller issue, Thanks to Treboeth who pointed me to a better value for money option

No problem, the product is pretty good.

I`ve had mine for two weeks and it been pretty much spot on with recordings so far.

Checkout the thread on Avforums Pvr section.

Bought the 500Gb version from John Lewis on Saturday. Nice bit of kit - well reviewed. They were selling them at £299 originally. At £199 I think it's the lowest price 500GB HD PVR out there.

I found it noisy at times even with the latest firmware and the remote control was a bit hit and miss so I went back to my Humax 9300T.

Must admit, I'm finding it noisy as well when the fan kicks in. A deep hum, noticeable even with headphones on.
