    Yes.
(but some people might think it's one of them digital temperature probe things for meat and stuff! )
I was thinking more on the lines of the - not food - part meanig the thermometer should not be eaten ;-)
    I want one!
I assume there is either a food-safe issue or upper temperature limit with the plastics to prevent use on food. Maybe it's not able to measure above 50C. I shall find another meat probe. ¬¬
Saw the same in Poundland Brighton last week. Never guess how much?

Ikea do one for use with meat for £7.19, and also doubles as a timer, I have one and the only adverse comment I have read about these is that there is no on/off switch so you have to take the battery out after easch use, which is incorrect, the battery is a single AAA type, and I have had the same battery in it since I first bought it, and it is still going strong, so leave the battery in, plus Ikea branded AA and AAA batteries are 10 for 99p, and seem to be good value as well :-)

There you go, some offers to post if anyone wants to use them :-)
