In the ear is best though

Poundland used to sell one as well a couple of years ago, don't know if it is still available.

No to check her temperature so i could tell when she was going to give birth !

Hot here

It's in the diary........

Good bargain ready for swine flu when the cold weather hits

 Great find, always useful to have one. Joking aside.....these can only be used in the mouth (rectally for babies but don't do it unless you have had some training, and you might want to buy another one...). The temperature takes about a 1-2 minutes to register, which will seem like a very long time, hence no longer used in hospitals. These are ideal for an adult. You cannnot use these in your ear to take your temperature (but you wouldn't be the first!)

The more expensive and popular ones you can buy are the ones that take just seconds to give you the temperature and are used in the ear or forehead. Ideal for toddlers who would never sit still for a whole minute :-D

These are in asda all the time for only £1.00! They aren't online but they are hanging on the ends of aisles.
