The one you are referring to is This One
which is an analogue one, whereas this one is a Digital One

Digital, analog, doesn't make much difference (have both). These are very useful since my garage charges a £1 for air. Sometimes they come up for less than £5 in Argos sales. This would be the time to buy them.

BTW, use code "MAYMADNESS" for the £5 off.

digital air,....... much better than analogue air

Thanks, just what I was looking for

Out of curiosity, if your car battery was fully charged and the engine not switched on, what % of the battery's capacity would it take to inflate a tyre from totally flat ?

great, thanks

Thanks just purchased one heat added

not a tyre compressor .. its an air compressor..

Depends on capacity of car battery, size of car tyre.

what is the different between this and the Ring Automotive RAC600 Digital Air Compressor?

Nice one

Thanks..Hot

An amount so small its not worth worrying about

Do 15000 odd miles a year and always put off doing my tyres for "next time I visit the garage" or "Theres someone else using it so i'll do it another time", this would be perfect

Bought and Heat Added

Bought one of this last year. The unit is good but very noisy!! I live in semi-detached house so there is quite some distance for the next house.

OK to use for emergency but would suggest unhappy neighbours if try this late evening

just what i needed, thanks.

these are great! and this is a good price!

Thanks, been meaning to get one of these for a while, the benefit of digital rather than analogue is you can set it to pump up to a predetermined pressure then it will automatically stop.

This was in my Amazon basket waiting for a pricedrop , ordered this one so happy days .

TCB @ 6% as well so even better bargain .

Thanks OP

It looks like the same one to me???

Very hot deal if it is.

I already have one of these (although very slightly different model) and it's great. Only drawback is the attachment to the valve - it's not the quickest to remove so you end up losing a bit of pressure. Having said that I've just bought this because I'm moving out and it's brill.

looks identical to me - heat added, bought the ring one from amazon a few weeks ago, used a couple of time already. Useful to keep in the boot.

It is a good deal, thank you.

great deal - heat and rep

just spent 50p filling up with air in a rainstorm - might have something to do with my decision to buy one

also 8% saving on fuel for me thats £20 a month!!

Nice find.

yes but an analogue ps2 pad is better than a digital only ps2 pad, how does work out?

Ordered thanks

I have one.
It's great.
I'm thinking of fitting a snap over end.

Looks good to me.

I have one of these (last time they were on offer at Gizoo - just bought one for my mum. The valve on the end that connects to the car tyre is a screw thread one - not the traditional one with a lever that's a pain to fit on. In my opinion the screw value is easier to use - i lose next to no air from the tyre when unscrewing. Much more accurate than the analogue ones, you set the pressure and it cuts off at the correct pressure for the tyre - so simple even my mum could use it.

As for the comment about noise above, I don't find it too noisy - it's certainly quieter than the last compressor I had.

Nice spot and perfect timing, stopped me going to Halfrauds.

I bought the analogue one as it is for occassional use for £10 from eurocarparts instore. Amazon price for analogue has gone up to £12.99.

Just got mine. Thanks :-D

Ordered Cheers:)

I have one and I'm very pleased with it.
Hot price.

Thanks op!

My experience is that it takes forever to inflate! and so not very practical. The noise is not a problem so long as you don;t need to use it late at night in a small road.
