This looks amazing similar to the Ring RAC600 which took top honours in this years ]2010 Product Test. If it is effectively the same product, just rebadged (or rather debadged and put into cheaper packaging) then this deserves to be hot.

I bought the Ring RAC630 last week for £19.99 delivered. I am not sure what the difference is between the 600 and the 630 but the one I got was good. I'd say it's easier to use than the pay ones at garages - and obviously a lot more convenient.

If the one on this offer is the 630 then it really is an excellent price.

EDIT : No - it's the RAC600 so it may be worth considering the newer 630 model for a couple of £s more.

Yep. Up to you of course. If you saw the thread you will see I didn't buy from 7dayshop... I bought from fastcar as they took paypal and I effectively should get £10 off through a PayPal deal.

The 7dayshop is the new model and Gizoo is the old one too.

As I mentioned I am not sure what the difference is though between the 2 models.

Good price for a digital compressor. Is the pressure gauge accurate enough? I've seen the gauge on analog ones are not consistent. (purchased and returned 3 so far)

Reviews seem to indicate so.. My sister inflated her tyres at a garage to 29 psi. I checked her tyres just after she'd done it and they showed 29psi. So it seemed like it was good enough to me.

This is a good pump and a good price. I paid £20 from Amazon.

Did you check the tyre pressure at the same location your sister inflated them (& without the vehicle moving), or did your sister drive the vehicle to you afterwards so you could test them?

Were the tyres already warm when inflated? Did they get warmer (due to atmospheric conditions or the physical act of using the tyres for travel) between the two & hence did the air pressure go up between the two locations?

If you did not test the pressure at the garage then there could have been a difference by the time you tested them.

Not a conclusive test, but probably good enough for it not to matter.
