Doom and Doom 2 still the greatest shooters of all time in my opinion and at 99p a bargain!

Seems to be fine with these.

Quake 2 and the add ons definitely not Steam? Ive still got a copy of it somewhere but would be nice to add to Steam.

Just to be informed - buying the Steam version of Doom 3 is not a wise move if you want to mod it - there are apparently issues with doing that with the Steam version. Seek out the original dvd-rom version if you wish to make it look better.

Does the Painkiller Complete Pack come as separate keys? Looking through Steam and I have them all bar the DLC and CE stuff. Or, does the H&D CE come with the DLC, only read that its the poster etc. Can give the rest away if they are. Fivers still a good price for just the DLC as just one is 5.99 on Steam.

Darksiders 2 bought - just so it looks pretty next to Darksiders 1 :|

Some of the Painkillers are dodgy, but the original is still one of the greatest FPS games in history imo. Really distills the FPS down to its core, and throws so much frippery out in exchange for concentrating the actual fun parts. Classic review :

Forget Godzilla. Play Darksiders, makes Godzilla look like a fairy!

Cold :p

It's a big game and could be good fun to play. Good for the price. I had a problem with the death system. Dieing did not hold much of a penalty. You would lose a little bit of money and be re-spawned about 30 ft from where you died. So it just turned into hacking your way through hundreds of zombies without fear of death and that's why it got repetitive.

purchased thanks :)

Enjoyed Riptide a lot. Well worth playing both. A great deal. Looking forward to the third.

hope the trailer for di2 doesnt end up being the best part!

**** game cheaper is still a **** game

It's not great by any means. Was really hoping for a good walking dead game (besides the Telltale title) It's ok, but really basic and totally not worthy of the walking dead name. Either way, heat added because if you do want this it's the cheapst and despite the bad press...doesn't seem to drop that often. I'd not value it over the £3 mark myself. But if you want it, go for it.

Don't buy this game it's terrible. Even if this was free I would tell you it's not worth your time.

turns out you are right: , last month there was a big patch that supposedly fixed most of the big issues, including netcode I'll give BF4 another try And, I think you were lucky not to have any issues, depending what patch they would push I would have periods when I would crash one game in 3. Another patch - a few weeks or a month when it would be stabled, another patch - crashes again. On top of that netcode. It wasn't just me or a few people, why do you think there is so much bashing going on on EA/DICE? My system is solid, this was the only game with programs. I tried windows 7 and 8 (8 and 8.1) , gtx 570, removed/ re-installed the game, i5 3570k : CPU overclocked/CPU without overclock - no change Now I have a gtx770 and wind7 , with these patches maybe it would be ok now. Even if it's fine now, 11 months to fix a game? it's a joke...

jesus christ. unsubscribe UNSUBSCRIBE!

but why are u failing to accept that the majority of the things u listed doesnt happen to me..? and im sure millions of others - remember, people only go on forums to complain, u dont see people going on to say "great, works fine", forums are mainly used for people to moan or seek help on problems. I very rarely/ never crash, never have server lag (what servers are u playing on...?).. and have never experienced kill swap. perhaps the game crashes and server lag is to do with an inadequate computer/internet connection, this could also contribute to the "kill swap" and "netcode" issues u are experiencing. p.s. there has been loads of major, large updates since release, bf4 takes up about 50gig on my hdd. ur just annoyed cuz u paid for a game (+ premium which is a rip off anyway) which for YOU has too many issues. The only actual issue i have with the game is battlelog - which is awful, but thats a minor complaint, and the maps are a bit ****.

the bugs are very hard to accept as they are serious bugs: often game crashes, server lag, kill swap , net code - BF4 is BETA quality not retail. I did empty a clip on someones back - point plank, the guy just turned while I was reloading and killed me, kill swap - it happened more often than I can remember, same for instant kill situations when the server doesn't register that you have been hit and you don't get the sound and visual warnings - you just die instantly. The game is fun to some extend and has a lot of potential BUT as I said, it's BETA quality. When you realize it wasn't "bad luck" or it's not just a " bad day" it's just a BAD GAME, you can't accept that it has "some bugs" - the bugs are severe for such a competitive game. I pre-ordered and played BF4 for ~6months before I realized it's not going to get fixed - and I was right it seems, it's a year I think - since it's been released and people scream on forums asking to have the bugs fixed, the same bugs the game had at release. EA/DICE - never again.

its not broken. it has flaws and bugs like most games. p.s. i have NEVER emptied a clip into someones face at point blank range and died myself instead of them.

It's showing £9.99 for me

Gets fair-to-good reviews on PC, and this edition of the game was only released early 2014, so it's not an old game. Steam still has at £6.99 price. Metacritic All in all, Heat from me on the offer, plus it actually looks like a fun game worth getting. EDIT: Damn it all. In a way yes, because the game is connecting to a specific server, but it also depends on your isp and location

Of course the internet connection is vital, that is obvious and if your system is not have a decent specification(min specs are never good) that's also obvious! Also depends what server you are using, isp, many factors and I never, ever had a problem, so I am doing everything right, because I don't experience the issues you have and you need to work out where your problem lies as I already have solved all my issues and it works perfect.......

Actually, it's probably a bit of both when it comes to Street Fighter. Super Street Fighter 4 was on both Steam and GFWL. The GFWL version actually ran smoother. Ultra Street Fighter is exclusively on Steam now with GFWL being pretty much dead and I've noticed it being so laggy sometimes, it's unplayable.

Yep, have to agree, uPlay is just terrible, and for a lot more reasons than just download speeds. I would wait for the Steam version to be cheaper.

Unfortunately doesn't matter how good the system or Internet connection. For some it's great, for others terrible. I suppose a lot of things are like that on PC though. Uplay is so slow and terrible for me. Updating the client takes forever each time and I am on 150mb connection. By the time the client updates I can have a 6 gb game installed on Steam. It's a known problem.
