OK M&S spy from Head Office, if you really do read these posts, please get your management to authorise some decent vegetarian Main Course options rather than the poor and single choice we have every time that you run this promotion.:x:x

Oh no, not the veggie brigade again :?

For sure friend, why should we veggies be neglected by an organisation as large as M&S? After all, our money is as good as any omnivore's.

Approximately 5% of the UK population are vegetarian but 10% of the main courses are for vegetarians so you're not doing too badly. :-D Might be worth writing to head office- you might get a voucher.

is the 'lightly dusted lemon sole' clean enough to eat ??

It's not that they only include one veggie option, it's the fact that the option is chosen from a very small repertoire when they have quite a few other possibilities in store that are compatible price-wise.

Have written to Head Office and also phoned but they just were not interested and give the very strong impression that they really don't care.

Nor do I!

They're running a business, not some sort of charity for people who've chosen not to eat meat. If veggies bought enough to be an important market they'd be trying hard to attract your business. You've chosen to put yourself in a small minority - you have every right to do so but don't then complain that M&S, etc don't pander to your wishes.

Whoa there...calm down.

I'm not a vegetarian but would choose a vegetarian option if I like the sound of it, I think M&S should do more vegetarian options...they are making money off the meals so what difference does it make to them?.

Are the portions for one person or two? I've never had this before but the grilled ginger lime chicken deeley sounds gorgeous. Would hate to disappoint the girlfriend with a small portion..... I do that too often.
