wooft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think im coming into work early so i can take a longer lunch and go get 2x this deal

Heat (belgian puddings are a delight) o' the banter

Pity no sirloin steaks this time ....

I want all of it now. It's just such a pity that you dont get 2 accompaniments so you can hav pots and veg but I guess that is the strategy to make you spend more.... yum yum

Yum...I love a Marks and Sparks night in! :w00t:

HAven't tried these yet but am VERY tempted, looking at the menu!! thnx for heads up

Last time i tried to get the steak on friday and they had to take the offer down as SOLD out.!!! No more deliveries....what .... it was only 2pm!!!:w00t:

Not impressed with the main course menu at all - and no salad box as accompaniment - not that big a fan of deserts or wine.

Good value for £10 if you like the menu, but not for me this time round.

Thank goodness they are doing a new one after a 3-4 week wait since the last one.

There looks an even better choice for the Vegetarians and the non-drinkers this time but I must admit some of my faves are missing (Roasting Veg or Salad bowls or whole chickens). Still find something though.

Already spent a small fortune in the sale today but will be back Thursday for the meal deal.

Unless we're reading a different menu then there is no choice at all for Vegetatians, 1 option, "The Cook Menu Goats Cheese & Pesto En Croute", nothing else in the main courses is vegetarian. It really annoys me with all of these meal deals, they never seem to give much thought to vegetarians, with most places I've looked at meal deals having 1 or often 0 options for them.

The wine is slightly better than the usual uninspiring choice. I usually go in on Monday too and see whats left over at half price, but looking at this selection I don't think I will bother.

What do you get - 1 of each for a tenner?

Mains not as good this time but the pie sounds nice and the meatballs are always good.

As usual I will gt a couple the wines worth £3 so really you are paying £7 for a food. Good value considering the quality.

these are great deals.
I like to do my own spuds and get a nice veg

Wooohooooo its my birthday on Friday and was hoping these would be on - can't wait to try the chicken, feta n butternut squash lattice!

Yep and that is assuming that it is Suitable for Vegetarian depending on the cheese, etc....
Oh well they don't get my money!
Thats the same for wines though, they are filtered through fish bones or something so need to have a Suitable for Vegetarian label on them....

Always a great deal though the wines are not as good as they used to be - I think that's where they're economising.

Still hot though!

Whoops

You're right it is just the one dish for the Vegetarians but I was thinking at least it is a better choice than the usual Mousaka or mushroom bakes. Their en croute stuff is usually fantastic.

Ok, enough already! I think we all know about M&S dine in for £10 deal by now.

Mmmmm sounds delicious. Bargain.

My little boy loves chicken pie, so voted hot ;-)

It says a meal for 2. Does that mean you get two mains? Or is the main big enough to share?

I would ideally like for me;

The Cook Menu Cajun-Style Stuffed Chicken Breasts (new
Parmentier Potatoes in a Shallot & Garlic Butter
2 Pot au Chocolats
Valencia Orange 2ltr

But is that really enough for 2 people.

I never had this deal before so have no clue at all!
Just wondering as if it is i may pop in tonight and see if i can get this deal!

Tis a little on the small side but do some veg yourself to bulk it up a bit.
The 2 previous meals I have tried have both been very tasty.

Hot !! these deals are great for a night in with the lady :D!

Also anyone know what is in the stuffed part of the stuffed cajun style chicken?

Cud be? or maybe its another surprise, with it being cajun it may be some spices/peppers/sauce

glenncraneuk;6503695

I didnt

Oh. Well you do now.

It was a soft cheese filling inside the 2 breasts with the cajun style dressing on the outside, all resting on mixed veg. Looked very nice and I would have got had I not gone for 2 of the other chicken dishes - the pies and the Lattice chicken breasts.

I think there was a greater choice in the wine this time - even though I go for the soft drinks. Also there looked like a nice pair of filled to the brim irish coffee glasses which were part of the deal. And the glasses were real glass not plastic.

Could hardly get to the mains because of the crowds there so very popular.

Pork had sold out (pity) but all the other mains were in stock at my store,

Banned

The pork medallions are literally amazzzzzzzzzing!

Had a lovely meal tonight thanks to this deal.
