Dine in for 2... but perfect for 1
When did this go up from £10 to £12?!!
The sides were always the worst part of this deal - with the current selection I'm not sure it's worth £12.

No haunch of venison!

you can make a dine in for 2 become a dine in for 4 if you have the chicken, for a family its not the best offer without it.

When they added in an extra side dish. Lol
Mediocre selection and no ice cream.

The saving is not as good, now they have added the extra £2. I used to buy an extra side, like bread to go with my food. Now I still have to buy it, so I have 3 sides
Agree not the deal it used to be not doing any favours must be more margin in it for M-S I'm out.
My Sparks currently has £2 off a £15 spend. Coincidence? Probably not.
they are taking the P. £2 extra for a side !!!! and crap choices of main meal

NO CHANCE of me ever buying one of these £12 deals.

People should refuse to buy at this price and they will have to improve the deals or drop price again

The deal is STILL a lose leader - just compare with Sainsbury/Tesco meals after taking off £6 for a reasonable bottle of wine.

don't think it will work as not valid on wine. That's or nanny states fault not M&S.

pick your sides ! does not have to go with the main? freeze the best option for another day.
My Sparks card offers show £2 off a £15 spend.... this worked on the Dine in offer the last time making it more reasonable. It might be worth a look if you have one!

The sdie is normally £2 so still a lose leader for M&S, but knocks the edge of the deal.
I always think of it as £5-6 for the wine... can I do better else where for the rest - Quality wins out! Tesco Finest? never that good.
Never had this deal before but will definitely give it a try is the food any bettar than in the Tesco’s finest £10 deal ?

"£6 for a reasonable bottle of wine" When did M&S offer a reasonable bottle of wine worth anything approaching £6 with their Dine in for 2 deals? I can't remember having any M&S wine that didn't taste like it had been watered down.

You need to lose the' lose' and replace it with a 'loss'.

Truth to be told the value of the money has dropped more than %20 since the Brexit vote.

Why would the purchasing power remain the same? Expect more of the same.
It is a good deal with two sides but all the main are rubbish. No paella rice for ages or even the roast pork!. So no getting it

Quality does win out. That's why Waitrose win.
A poor selection and the £2 for an extra side is no deal at all as they are currently 3 for £6 ! It was a better deal when they changed the quality of the wine and charged a couple of pounds more.

Here's a little hint. Always ask for the wine list as they never publish it. It is split into two, the vinegar which they want to sell you, and a 'reserve' list which they are to use in case the vinegar runs short. These wines are usually much better, and have to be found on the wine aisle. They are usually marked with a small orange highlight "I'm in the dine in deal" If you didn't know though, you wouldn't know.

I'd much rather pay a bit more for a decent portion size than have a smaller portion of meat for the old price.

Yes in a word. I've tried both, the Tescos wine is much lower quality and it just doesn't feel quite as 'special'.
Considering what people spend on snacks , booze etc , what is it with the moans ! even a drink in the pub can cost a fiver. Fair price and M&S quality. I don't know what some expect, you need to be realistic.
Anyone got the full veggie option list?
Last time it was pretty big and had some great dishes.
