What a load of barmy! Its okay if you live in London as most of the restaurants are across the channel in Europe!

I live in Newcastle and there were 4 pages of restaurants near me

I also live in Newcastle....and it shows a grand total of 4 restaurants. None of which I would particularly want to eat at!

I suspect this may be a "TK Maxx" type deal, in that you have to rake around to see the real bargains, if there are any.

Certainly, the restaurants I've seen up here are fairly poor compared to the ones I would usually go to, and I would anticipate spending about £10 PP (excluding drinks) for a "standard" meal anyway.

Not voted.

Yes but this is £10 per two people so only £5 per head.

Not according to your title. Or the website.

Its £10 PP.

i'm not going to bite at this one....not very good value most places do food for two people and a glass of wine
for £10 per head, without having to make a meal of it with using vouchers cold from me

My mistake, you are both correct.

COLD!

I checked out the Storyteller restaurant in Cheltenham and normal special lunch menu is £7.95 for two courses or even £9.95 for 3 courses any day of the week ... so how is a £10 for two courses via Tropicana a good deal?!

Storyteller menu:

this deal is terrible, looked up a local restaurant near me, set out to get the tropicana deal for 2 courses for £10, but thought i'd check out their personal website to see what current deals they had of their own, one of which was the same two course dinner for £9.95

hardly the saving of the century, but also making this tropicana deal completely pointless in my opinion.
