Hotel du Vin have extended their offer of a two course meal, a bottle of wine and coffee
for only £29 until 30 November. Tried this in the new Edinburgh hotel last month and it was excellent food and wine and extremely good value.
Malmaison are also still offering this deal but their website does not indicate an end date for the offer.
Enjoy!

i also tried this in edinburgh.

remember you can upgrade your wine and get the discount of the house wine from it.

i went during the week, thinking it would be quiet but it was very busy and the only criticism was that service was very slow. too many others with vouchers i reckon

The website says " You can even
upgrade to your favourite wine and receive a
£10 discount." so looks like it.

Ha, have some rep.

Sounds like a great deal to me!

Shame there isn't one close by.

Great, encourage people to be rude and unhelpful. The world sure needs more of that.

Being rude and unhelpful makes the world go round. We need less hippy flower loving people and more rudeness \0/

I'm going to Edinburgh next month, but looks like both Friday and Saturday nights are excluded. With all these T&Cs, I'm struggling to think when anyone can actually take advantage of this so-called offer.

when you book online, is it the "Bistro" where this offer is on?

thanks

don't suppose anybody has a sample menu link for edinburgh?

I used this deal to go to Tunbridge Wells for a meal. It was very good so voted hot.

Not sure if I'm allowed to get another voucher and go again.

Edinburgh Malmaison is lovely!!

Damn - why is winchester excluded?

Went to Hotel-Du-Vin in Bristol the other week as it had such positive reviews. To be honest I was disappointed. They were busy, but the service was awful. We had to wait 40 mins for a drinks order to be taken, there was no citrusy check when the meal arrived and the food was average at best.
For £29 it’s a bargain though, the two of us only had a main with a few sides, a bottle of wine and a couple of other drinks, and it came to around £70.

Anyone know if they'll swap the bottle of wine for soft drinks? Neither me or the missus partakes of 'the devil's buttermilk'

I suppose worst case scenario we could take it home and use it for cooking with ...

Not enough lemon with your meal?

Hotel du Vin Glasgow Bistro is the well known 'One Devonshire Gardens'. Went there in Feb for offer - was VERY nice. Plan to go again....

Lol

I did this at the HDV in Brighton and it was excellent...amazing value for £29.

out of interest it said it said you could choose from either the simple classic or simply du vin menus.. does that mean both are available or you could order first and second courses from each? or each person could pick from either too? any one that can help mucho appreciated!

Off to 1 Devonshire Gdns next week for Sons Surgeon Grad
