That was the way François Demachy, DIOR Perfumer-Creator, wanted it: raw and noble all at once.

Natural ingredients, selected with extreme care, prevail in excessive doses. Radiant top notes burst with the juicy freshness of Reggio di Calabria Bergamot. Ambroxan, derived from precious ambergris, unleashes a powerfully woody trail. It is an act of creation inspired by wide-open spaces.

    Ah the smell of January, after everyone gets Sauvage as a Christmas present.

    Probably one of, if not the best (cheap) men's fragrance to date. It's definitely noticed when you smell like everyone else in the room. It just becomes a competition who can lather themselves in it the most at that point.

    They do and it's a best seller but just check YouTube blind tests on girls they all pick Sauvage. It's just a banger only influencers will say it's over used. Girls love it still and it's a compliment magnet.

    I walked into a perfume shop earlier and all I could smell was sauvage elixir although it's nice it kinda put me off, like going to an 80's nightclub and everyone smelling of Kuros

    Going by comments this usually gets I think I must be the only person that hasn’t smelt this (or haven’t realised I’ve smelt it).

    I am going to go for Sauvage. From what I read the Parfum, EDP, EDT, and Elixir all smell different? If I want strong and good longevity but prefer more fruity over spicy, which would be best to go for? (edited)

    None of them are really fruity, the spicy one should be the Elixir. If you want longevity get the EDP and elixir while if you want the wow factor but for a shorter amount of time then the EDT is still the one to go for, EDP will sit closer to your skin
