great album
40 years old yesterday. Great album.
I remember Dire Straits telling everyone to buy CDs because it sounded better. Lol.

Great band great songs and what a guitarist.
One of the top 2 Vinyls I own for sound quality, the other being Introspective by The Pet Shop Boys.

Fantastic album.
Original pressing can be had for about £5.

How does the sound compare though?
I always prefer original pressings for that authentic feeling but sucks when they sound bad.
Proper music!

Can't compare it with the new pressing as don't have one. Very happy with original though. Bought it from Revo Records in Halifax for £5 and they had a stack of them when I bought one.

For balance bought a new pressing of Inxs Kick, and was disappointed - seemed Brickwall squished - particularly when compared with the original release CD which I'd have to say is one of the best mastered CDs I own a copy of.
