We were in Philadelphia last year for 3 nights and really liked it . It’s not too far from Washington DC and New York so you can easily visit both
Great price for direct Seattle flights! I'd probably take advantage of these if they were later in the year
Seattle is a fantastic city and great base to visit the Olympic, Mt. Rainer, and Cascade National Parks, well worth a visit if you’ve never been there. Quite a British type climate as well.
This is a great deal if you fancy doing a little jaunt down the west coast using the Seattle flights especially in May, or setup a few city visits.

Take the 12th May flight to Seattle, and spend 3 days there, so on the 15/16th grab a flight to Las Vegas for ~£38, which takes about 2.5 hours. Stay in Vegas for a 2-3 days, take in a show, gamble away some of your kids inheritance and over eat until you look like a beach ball
Then grab a flight up to San Francisco, again around the £35 mark, and enjoy some great views, and world famous landmarks. That leaves you the option to either hire a car (~£150), and drive back up to Seattle which is 800 miles and an amazingly beautiful drive, and loads of interesting places to stop and take in the sites and eat good food, or take another cheap flight.

The best bit about the car option is you can drop the car at the airport on the 21st and head home, feeling knackered but having had a great time.
Would this not be economy light or what ever BA call it so only hand luggage.

Anyone found a site that compares flights and class types now all the airlines have 4 versions of economy

Nice one , now you’ve just got to decide on where to stay (hotel or Airbnb) and whether to stay there the whole time or to do Washington or New York as well
