Was this the Oslo returns? I remember flying back from San Francisco and about 3 other couples checking in asked to make sure their luggage stopped in London and not sent to Oslo.

Wow, we need this but for 2017!!

Went in June. Amazing place and a week is long enough to see most of the highlights. Highly recommend:

- Crossing the Brooklyn bridge on foot (walk across from the Manhattan side, amazing skyline views of Manhattan, and check out some of the quayside cafes/park on the Brooklyn side)
- The Highline (old disused elevated rail line converted into a nature trail/walking tour/exhibition, very cool and 100% free)
- The Staten Island Ferry (runs every hour, completely free and good views of the statue of liberty, though doesn't take you to liberty island)
- Ground Zero 9/11 memorial (vast memorial waterfall; both impressive and oppressive)
- watching a Yankees game (I found the sport pretty boring, but the atmosphere is incredible and it's just a fun night out, you can get VERY cheap tickets a couple of days before a game from stubhub.com)
- The Metropolitan Museum (huge and beautiful museum with a large range of exhibitions, entry is a suggested donation rather than a fee but it's easily worth a tenner)
- The Guggenheim (it's very, um, contemporary in its contents and quite expensive to get in, but the architecture is fantastic - Frank Lloyd-Wright FTW)
- Central Park (obviously)
- Jazz at the Lincoln Centre
- eat lunch from the buffet at Wholefoods Market stores because it's F*CKING DELICIOUS
- Chelsea Market
- if you have time, take the Hudson mainline train up-state a short way a visit a few of the smaller towns, I especially recommend Tarrytown (very cute little town with an AWESOME ice-cream parlor whose name I've forgotten) and Sleepy Hollow (for the LOLs)

Didn't realise this was a deal to Stoke

Public service announcement beware the bed bugs and Jan / Feb most likely snowy!

cracking deal went in july had a great time get the city pass and do the speed boat on the hudson river . and haggle with the bus opperators for more days and trips etc for travel we got five day trips for $10 more than a single trip ......

Is there an option to change the departure airport to Belfast?

lol, Jan Feb is wholly **** winter season. Make sure to take a sleeping bag and the teddy bear as you might get stranded in the airport.

Norwich?

Great price! I've been twice in January and I loved it. Obviously it can be extremely cold at that time of year so if that is something that bothers you don't bother. On the plus side though it's low season so no crowds of tourists at many of the attractions. It's also very easy and relatively cheap to get the Subway and taxis so there isn't much need to spend prolonged periods outdoors. There is a risk of snow but the city is well equipped at dealing with it so generally its not really a problem. In the event snow disrupts your flight home then I believe as BA is a European airline they have an obligation to provide you with accommodation so nothing to worry about there. Hot!

Can you book these with Avios, or can you upgrade later using them?

I'm pretty sure that you can't use Avios to book this. As for upgrading using Avios it depends what booking coded the Economy ticket has. Some codes let you upgrade while others do not. There also needs to be Avios availability in the next class up which can be limited due to the relatively small size of World Traveller Plus. The best upgrade used to be World Traveller Plus to Club but since the devaluation upgrading using Avios is no longer that attractive.

Price same for April too!! Amazing thanks! Booking this week

can someone please help me with dates in april?

April seems to be more expensive. I'm not sure where djwilko is getting the price from.

Couldn't figure out a way to do this. We've got a free trip to Oslo apparently.

Heat for the deal, but be prepared for the cold! I went in December and it was about 0 degrees everyday. Still had an amazing time as we were well prepared for the cold but looking at the snow they had earlier this year it could definitely impact your trip!!

great things listed there, I'd say a week isn't enough for NY tho. Spent a week there in September and could easily have filled a 2nd week with the things to do and see.
I'd also add to your list:
- New Jersey Outlets (unbelievable prices on designer stuff)
- take the sub to Hoboken and see the Carlo's bake shop (Cake Boss) - might even meet Buddy or one of the family members if your lucky.
- take a helicopter ride from the docks, incredible views / photo ops.

avoid central park zoo, waste of time and money imho.

I liked central park Zoo. There is also Woodbury Common shopping outlet. I am going in the beginning of December. In a weird way, I like going when cold. A LOT better than going to a smoggy city in baking hot temperatures!

Some of the taxi drivers are real characters...
