looks good 4 the price

drilling, hammering and chiselling for 19.99, great price, great find, reviews on screwfix are good too.

I found eventually the chuck wouldnt grip the bits correctly but at this price there disposable ;-)

Its a heavy machine but ideal for those jobs like drilling through window mantles or breaking up a 70s fireplace.

Are these Drill compatible with bits available from Wickes?

i meant bits like
wickes.co.uk/Dri…153

No you need SDS bits, Aldi often sell a set for aound £5

I've got a Tooltek version of this - TBH it looks exactly the same - probably is. Just to say, I've used it to take up concrete/crazy paving and chiselled through brickwork amongst other things - I paid around £40 and I still think it was a bargain at that price. For £20 it's a steal. I've used Kangos before and, whilst not as powerful, it still packs a punch and is easily suitable for most keen DIYers.

Don't even hesitate. If you don't need it now, buy it anyway - you'll use it one day.

Extra Hot!

Ordered one cheers.
Should help with my mahoosive decking project next month!!

Just came back from the local depot, price in store is still £39.99.

But the guy on the till price matched it for me without me asking and said they aren't really supposed to match internet prices, but it's their price so he did.

Can't be sure you'd get the same response at your local.

Top find

I got it at my local on price match as well, he didnt argue but he did say he shouldnt really match the offer as it was online only. Now all I need is the sign off from the gf to start destroying things.....:w00t:

Will be popping into my local on the way home, tried to reserve it online but they wanted £39.99 too !! Still worth it with £5 delivery though !!!

I have got the Aldi bits. Well worth the cash.

Bit of a faff at Nottingham, they declared it "on line ONLY" but after a bit of reasoning.... lol

Not had one before, the bits seem to move half an inch or so when locked in - is this normal ? If so, why ?

Yes, it's normal. SDS chucks do this. The bits have slots to allow the bit to be shot forward (and backwards)

It's not like a normal chuck which gabs the bit tightly.

bah forgot quidco

Would this be any good for use with a 102mm Bosch holesaw? If so what extras would i need, presumably an SDS Plus holesaw arbor or something?

Erm...... They're not on Quidco??? I couldn't find them on it anyway :?

The Titan 6KG one they do on SF is much better. Comes with bits too. They had it on offer for £40. I'm waiting till it goes down again so I can get me one!

ah so they aren`t , they were last month when I got the dewalt drill. Don`t feel so bad now ]

this hasn't expired. still showing as £19.99

Yup it's still £19.99 - wonder how long for? Bought two myself last night along with a Bosch Powerchange arbor. Only wanted the one drill but the second one worked out at just £10 after the free delivery and 10% discount had been factored in. Will probably give the spare one to my dad or something. Many thanks to MikeT for another cracking deal!

Thanks to OP.

I got one yesterday from Trafford Park (Manchester).

The lasty two digits of the order code normally correspond to the catalgoue number, but there's a special 2-digit code for Internet.

The guy did tell me what it was but I've forgotten sorry!
