Crazy price - just need to get to Manchester now

The train will cost 1/2 the price of the flight from the south / London

Did New York in late January - yes its cold so is the UK. New Yorkers can be abrupt so can anyone. Accom well you need to look around if you stay lower manhattan worked out not too bad. Worlds a small place now you can book accom over the net so it wont be a suprise when you get over there! New Yorks like anywhere you go to the main hotspots you will pay premium money. Think everyone should do New York at least once theres so many different sides to it.

Cost for accommodation / food / drink / attractions will be big bucks. I found the New Yorkers to be pretty friendly whenever I’ve been.. contrary to popular belief.

I went and did every touristy thing I wanted to do.. ran around like a mad man. Went again and just super chilled.. Central Park lazy days and Greenwich Village drinking.

I much preferred the second visit.

Caution; yes it should take 10 minutes, I’ve done it moments before check in when I forgot mine had expired... but

1/ Enter any verifiable detail incorrectly and it will be refused and re application isn’t so simple and can involve visits to the embassy.

2/ The website could be down. Happened to a friend travelling to Canada in December. A last minute work trip and he wasn’t aware Canada since 2015 introduced a eTA, like US ETSA. He only found out enroute to the airport, no eTA, so he couldn’t fly.

Finally always use the official site here esta.cbp.dhs.gov/ there are many non official sites that will do it at a premium, it will take longer, worse what else could they do with your data?!

I did it the other way around, 1st time it was this time of year and I went with my Bro, did a bit of sightseeing but not much. Frequented many small bars lower manhattan ! 2nd time me and my wife got a New York Pass and got some value out of it for a few days - it was harder than being at work! Didnt do the village though. Feel theres another trip in me at some point

Apologies, have not flown Norwegian, but travel to USA 3/4 times a year. Virgin Atlantic is my transatlantic airline of choice. Took kids to Boston last summer on economy light ie no hold baggage, but still free food, drinks and entertainment. Unless Norwegian is significantly cheaper, I would recommend Virgin Atlantic.
