If you are happy to book via an agent you can make some decent savings on flights to the US. Various dates are available for January, February, March and May departures. Hand luggage only - checked baggage is £70 - £90p/p. Meals and inflight entertainment are included on the flight.

To book:
1) Search for suitable dates on Skyscanner or TravelUp. Tuesday - Tuesday 1 week trips normally work well. Some example dates are given below although more are available too. If searching via Skyscanner ensure TravelUp appears as one of the booking agents. Important - do not click the link to to book on TravelUp, instead open a new tab and open the TravelUp website and search for the dates you found via Skyscanner. Clicking the link to book using TravelUp via Skyscanner invalidates the voucher code you need to use.
2) You will need to apply the code VCLOUD£15 at checkout (£15 discount).

Example dates:
20th - 27th Jan
12th - 19th Feb
19th - 26th Feb
10th - 17th Mar
17th - 24th Mar
2nd - 9th May
9th - 16th May

You will need an ETSA to enter the US ($14)

Don't need a return just stay there when YOU get there!
I obviously have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER about the travel industry, but I can never fathom why airfares to similar distance destinations are double the price. Caribbean or South America fares are astronomical in comparison.

It’s simple supply and demand! There is a lot more flights to the likes of New York so a lot more seats to fill.
Good price @reindeer333

It isn't at all actually!
11 hours in economy is pretty brutal

However, on some of these routes the new Airbus A350 is in operation, which is said to provide a slightly more enhanced experience than the older planes

Nevertheless, these are some good prices for a carrier that is rated highly and includes meals and drinks

To those who will inevitably moan about the lack of checked baggage, you'd be surprised how much you can fit in a cabin suitcase if you pack efficiently
Booked off this site using the code provided, been over 24 hours but booking still shows as unconfirmed and PNR provided cannot be found on airline(s) website

P.S. This code works on routes with other airlines as well
