Voted Hot, but will wait until around the £20 mark.

lol, same here, c'mon knock £6.86 off it, and I will buy it !!!

looking forward to playing this, but also waiting for a bit cheaper

same as above three tbh! loved dirt 2, but a bit too dear still to qualify as worth it for me. hot nonetheless

i massively regret buying this game on release... it just STUNK of that'll do, they'll buy it anyway...

i was most annoyed that after 50% completion of the game, i'd only race THREE rally tracks, it just startedd you at different points along the same track, or made it night, reversed, etc

Also... 1 minute loading for a 1.5 mile track which is covered in 1 minute 15 seconds.... its a joke!!!

gymkhana just capped off the bitter disappointment as well :-(

Great deal!!! I just paid £20 for this second hand and now I need to go pay 800 MS points to get a VIP code!

If I knew I needed that I wouldnt've bothered going second hand!!!!

This is a CRACKING deal.

i got this for 27 quid deal few weeks ago ... i had dirt 2 on pc and this is similar but at least they got rid of that awful menu system in the trailer.... i did find more rally towards end of game and i like the rally cross but for multiplayer it is a fun racer with short varied tracks. 2nd hand vip code is the killer for preowned value though

Way better than Dirt 2, much better tracks and great multiplayer features. Great game.

Mostly agree. Certainly a step back compared to Dirt 2. Still pretty good fun though. Copying to hard drive on 360 seems to make a big difference to load-times - more so that most other games.

Have heat my fellow Kiss fan

Why is it getting such great reviews if its not good? I've played a bit and it seems a lot better than Dirt 2 which was full of annoying MTV-style voiceovers.

Don't get me wrong, handling is awesome, graphics great... its when you start to realise how little content there is that you start to dislike so many pathetically small things... 5 different rally tracks in the whole game? only 5.... honestly!!!

What's happened to the good old colin mcrae rally days where you used to get 75 to be able to do the championship accurately???

5 tracks does seem a bit limited. maybe they want to sell us more through DLC later.

and we all know that's the case because on RELEASE DATE playstation network showed "additional content trophies" in the trophy list

phraps because in them days there wasnt anywhere near half as much detail emplemented on it.

5 countrys with 8 stages in them, 5 rally - 3 trailblazer. not tracks come on dont exaggerate now. (_;)

For "proper" rally there are 4 countries each with about 5 minutes of driveable roads. The different tracks are created by a junction mid-way through the stage which directs you one way or the other. Combine that with reversing the routes and moving the start / end points and you have the long list of tracks given on that site.

It's a very similar system to last years WRC (which was pretty universally slated but I really loved). The big difference though was that WRC had 15 (I think) countries with about 8 minutes of roads each - significantly more content.

In many ways, this isn't really the issue. Dirt2 may have technically had fewer rally miles but they were so much more memorable - I especially remember the Utah track - blasting down a big open plain, then through the high rocks and up the side of the cliff. Dirt3 really has none of that - it's all fairly flat and enclosed with trees.

Also if you haven't heard annoying MTV style american voice-overs you haven't been playing enough. I swear if I hear "Post it on You TOOB" one more time my wheel may go through the TV!

Roll on WRC2

Edit: Having said all this, it's still good fun and for £22 (new thread: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dirt-3-ps3-360-shopto-22-85/964264) a great buy. It just didn't live up to my high-hopes after my enjoyment of Dirt2.

Dirt 3 is superb, if your thinking about buying it stop thinking and just buy it. £26 is a give away
