Release date November 6th
I was about to say this - I think it was originally early Oct, then it got pushed back a week or 2 but now it's November. Given its not ready and now they will begin rushing it, I would hold off pre-ordering and wait for some reviews

Hopefully it will come back good.

Yes, just copied from the description, now removed.
Loved dirt 1/2/3 4 was a grind I never finished I think I’ll wait to see reviews first , codemasters have went a little stale for me lately ? Loved the latest grid but nowhere near as good as racedriver grid on the ps3

I loved Dirt 2 played for hours and great fun online.
3 was ok but only as a budget purchase IMO.
Picked up Dirt 4 for £6 on PC a few months ago. Played twice. Didn’t find it fun. Can’t put my finger on it.
Codemasters have ruined the Project Cars franchise with PC3 which is now a poor mans Grid (which I quite like).
I don’t hold out much hope for Dirt 5, but we can always hope.
Developed by Codemasters Cheshire, formerly known as Evo, formerly known as Evolution Studios.

The fact that the Motorstorm devs are involved this time around has me hopeful 🤞

If anyone has a preference of retailer, it's £39.85 at Base.
Not that it's much of a difference in price.
Hoping that it comes good in the end, as said already if Motorstorm devs are involved this has promise.

Race Driver Grid best arcade racing game on ps3/x360 imho(Grid 2 & Autosport were crap), for me Forza Horizon feels very similar to first Grid
I forgot, Dirt Showdown is best Dirt imho

This is what I would like, I am missing my Motorstorm fix and this is giving me those Motorstorm vibes.

Grid (2008) and Dirt 2 (2009) are clear series highlights and the PC versions hold up extremely well. The Dirt 5 previews look pretty ropy though I'd like to be proved wrong. Tempted to suggest they cancel it, release Playgrounds as a budget spin-off and develop the community and tool set throughout 2021.

If anyone finds a retail copy for pc please let me know...got a boxed copy of ever dirt game on pc (bar dirt rally 1, need to hunt that down too) and looks like they're not doing it in UK :-(

See Wreckfest. Best pick up and play fun racer of the current gen .
I played the beta for this last month and it's massively unfinished. Lots of potential though. If there's anything that gets close to Dirt 2, I'm excited. It's going back that way, after Dirt 4 was just an arcade version of Dirt Rally.
