I didn't find it bad, was you playing on psvr?
Dirty rally is really good, great with a wheel. A little hard. I had a friend play it who got very sick after he rolled the car three times, he was sweating buckets. But this was his 2nd VR experience.
Great post op, wanted to try both of these out, at that price I have no choice!

No it was on an Oculus I am just really susceptible to motion sickness. Hence my Oculus now being it's box for the last year.

What gpu are you running Kate? You probably already know but when susceptible to motion sickness it's vital to be hitting a constant 90 fps. Even a solid 45 fps ASW i found to be not quite right. Using 'oculus tray tool' you can turn on the performance overlay to dial in your in game settings to ensure a constant 90fps. Made a big difference for me. But always stop when you start to feel a little queasy and don't try to power through it. That just makes us start to associate the nausea with the headset.

You'd be surprised! I have a 290x and i7 2600k so similiar to your setup and needed it on low for a constant 90 fps. Only found this out by running OTT (oculus tray tool) with fps performance overlay and adjusting settings until i had the solid 90fps. Huge difference in comfort for me so worth spending the time to get sorted.

Did the same for project cars and could then fly around cadwell park in the super karts no bother! Highly recommended!

Yes Subnautica is rated as Intense on the comfort rating so anyone susceptible to motion sickness should ease themselves in to that one.
Cold sweat is when you take a break asap before any nausea starts. Like that for me anyway.
Subnautica is very demanding on gpu too so again check performance with OTT and dont assume it's fine.
Get the framerate/detail level right for your own comfort levels and ease yourself in to that one in short bursts and you'll most likely be flying around no bother in no time as most find.

Get that rift back out of that box!
There's been some amazing games released over the last year.
Mines been tied up for a few weeks mind, due to creed origins and far cry 5, but can't wait to get stuck back in

I'm partnered up with hurk and his mam.
Lethal them two but if it's missions you need to save something ie. A helicopter, you've had it.
I've had to get rid of them both on some missions.
Far cry 5 is going down legendary for me along with creed origins.
Ubisoft has come out of nowhere to become my favourite devs/Publishers.
I don't even mind Uplay
Can anyone install games - I keep getting errors
