That same site is £7.50 delivered for me ... ?

Good price, thanks.

 That's so amazing. I think the clay pigeon shooting idea is a good one. Not only do you get the AOL discs, bus cometimes a free plastic case. Even the cardboard ones are good for posting loose CDs. ;-)

That's a handy device Never seen them before.

Wait a minute... why not just buy all your blank cds on a spindle and take them off the spindle when you need them?... not that hard, and free...

Do any come not on a spindle?

Yeah, you can buy them loose (like they're in a spindle, but wrapped in cellaphane) or in CD cases already.

Not a bad idea as I always wonder if there's an alternative use for the spindles... Never found one though LOL

Nice little gadget!

As for an alternative use, why not use it to keep your ring doughnuts fresh (you can fit about 4 on the spindle with the hard plastic cover on). :-D

I'm sure a disc spindle would make an excellent home for a family of stick insects

You'd probably have to keep it upside down though so you can get the spindle off the lid easily, lol.

You might like to leave them in street and maybe trip up a fox.

The damn things wake me up every night and I fear the spindles aren't either aerodynamic enough or heavy enough to make much of a contribution. Do foxes have a fixed mating season? These have been barking for weeks.

A very handy item termite, thanks for the deal!

Foxes always tended to mate through Dec/Jan maybe Feb, but goodness knows what global warming has done to their loins. Our tortoise has put her foot down over the hibernation thing this year.
