An absolutely cracking game which can be had for a record low price by using the £10 voucher which auto applies on the Epic Store (assuming of-course you got one of the freebies from there by now).

Description
Disco Elysium is a groundbreaking open world role playing game. You’re a detective with a unique skill system at your disposal and a whole city block to carve your path across. Interrogate unforgettable characters, crack murders or take bribes. Become a hero or an absolute disaster of a human being.

Key Features
Unprecedented freedom of choice. Intimidate, sweet-talk, resort to violence, write poetry, sing karaoke, dance like a beast or solve the meaning of life. Disco Elysium is the most faithful representation of desktop role playing ever attempted in video games.
  • Countless tools for role playing : Mix and match from 24 wildly different skills. Develop a personal style with 80 clothes items. Wield 14 tools from guns to flashlights to a boombox, or pour yourself a cocktail of 6 different psychoactive substances. Develop your character even further with 60 wild thoughts to think – with the detective's Thought Cabinet.
  • A revolutionary dialogue system with unforgettable characters : The world is alive with real people, not extras. Play them against each other, try to help them, or fall hopelessly in love. Disco Elysium's revolutionary dialogue system lets you do almost anything.
  • Carve your unique path across the city : Explore, manipulate, collect tare or become a millionaire in an open world unlike anything you've seen before. The city of Revachol is yours for the taking, one small piece at a time. From the streets to the beaches – and beyond.
  • Hard boiled, taxes and disco – nothing is off the table. Revachol is a real place with real challenges. Solve a massive murder investigation, or relax and kick back with sprawling side-cases. The detective decides – the citizens abide.

Hope it helps someone.

So many games, so little time. Heat, even if not my platform of choice!
Such a good game, well worth it at this price
Brilliant, I'm totally "epic" now. They definitely won me over with all the promos and this £10 vouchers stuff. What I like about Epic is, that it seems to have the selection of games filtered to majority of good ones unlike steam which has tones of rubbish.

In addition I never buy games on steam, usually it's a code from other website which doesn't really help with security as I have to go to those grey markets for a deal, epic really become epic...

Tried so hard to get into this game but it's not for me.

Seriously? You're obviously not a Civil Servant like me then, since Lockdown I've done nothing but play games, whilst "working remotely"

Cleared out a right backlog I have - going to get this and Doom Eternal Deluxe tomorrow, should see me through to the end of the month...

Heated OP!

just English language
i'll pass
thanks for sharing anyway
This is probably the best game I've played in years.
Got this off Steam when it was on offer a while back, and I’mtotally absorbed. I’m on my second run doing Physical Bad Cop this time . Very different to your usual computer RPG and really more like a dice based D&D story game in that sense. Hope they do a follow up.

You registered, just to post this? Definitely Civil Service
This game is insanely good.
Thanks for the heads up, been thinking of trying this game for a while. Might have to give it a go at this price. Looks very interesting and the reviews seem brill
Thanks for the advice on the voucher, didn't know I had it. Does it have a minimum spend for use?

GoG Galaxy 2.0 is the best launcher of them all, combines the library from all your accounts

Nice! When did that happen out of interest? I don't actually think I've got anything on GOG recently but when I did, I think it just came as a browser download.

I'll check it out, thanks

Yeah use vpn or a proxy (Chile)

GOG 2.0 came out a while back or was in beta for a while. You can sync your Steam/Uplay/Epic/Origin games to it so you never have to launch another launcher.

They've had a launcher since 2015, released just before Witcher 3 came out.

Having it as a feature baked directly into the launcher is superior imo. I can even keep track of my PS4 games there too.
