Whilst it's a great deal and I use a similar one regularly...the idea of lounges being infested by the great unwashed does worry me
jasee21/10/2019 09:51

Sounds like the great unwashed to me Plus 'run with the hare...'

Lol. So anyone who likes a deal is the great unwashed to you? Pretty insulting to every member of this website
Chiming in here. Though I'll probably regret it. Is it me or has the modern culture of being offended by everything and not understanding sarcasm now reached HUKD? Sllim999 says it's a good deal and that is what we are here to rate. Everything else is just meaningless.

These terms say says " DragonPass eCertificate Terms and Conditions

This offer entitles the customer to purchase a single airport lounge visit eCertificate at a discounted rate of £20 per visit"
Where do you apply to get it for £20 without needing a code?
This is the pop up to apply

If you don't put a code in here you simply don't get a voucher
So I don't know what you are on about.
I purchase one this time and I purchased one on the previous deatl using the code

But you say you use a similar deal?
So if this discount deal didn't exist, your one still would, so the 'great unwashed' could still use your deal?
These lounges are too cheap anyway. If you want exclusivety, you need to fly in a higher class then you get your own lounge
Can anyone recommend a lounge at Schiphol and happen to have a code, thanks?

Only if life were so simple. I travel to and from Dublin regularly with work so use a lounge every other week. for an hour flight there is no option to upgrade to business as BA share with Aer Lingus. Plus it wouldn't be worth it.
If it was to China and back then of course it would be different.
Yes, my deal exists constantly and it's the gourmet society one, where a code is needed to make it £20. I choose not to share it as I don't want lounges being filled up with people who won't know how to behave in a lounge and will quickly make the experience less enjoyable. Plus if these companies start getting an influx of people (some badly behaved) they'll up their prices and everyone loses out.

Have you looked here to see if they have a lounge at Schiphol. It's a big airport.

Well good for you. But unfortunately, this deal has existed here for years on and off. Normally I wouldn't bother, but there is nothing worth buying in duty free, I always get there far too early, so it's a relatively quiet way of spending a few hours. Even £27 is nothing nowadays even to the unwashed
I had a look at gourmet society, hmm, it looks as though there night be a deal there for the great unwashed. Particularly if you always get a discout at airport lounges.(See my post later)
And anyway, I think you can just pay for the business class lounges? But at a rate that wouls surely exclude your riff raff

Ok. If you tell me too. Your opinion is more important than that of my companies and our working day. Again, we find a commenter who speaks before they think.
Imagine, if you can, that the flight back from Dublin whilst only one hour is around 8pm and so even leaving Dublin city at 5ish means a couple of hours to kill there. So that is when a lounge comes in handy.

Again this superior person , ( in his own mind ) insulting the majority , ( the idea of lounges being infested by the great unwashed does worry me ) You travel to Dublin, it must upsett you that the plane is full of the great unwashed.

Who or what is a 'commenter'? How many companies do you own? Seems like you had better organise a private jet, then you'll be free of the 'great unwashed'

Your use of language is disgusting quite frankly. They're not vermin Sllimm999.
thanks will get motherin law one for her trip back home via heathrow
Im confused what does the pass let you do?

Also is it only heathrow or can it be used in manchester or birmingham?
Are these the same airport lounges you get part of the Amex card?

Who aren't? Please don't misrepresent the tongue in cheek comment or be 'offended' because I say something you don't agree with. Some people are the type to suit the name great unwashed. Some are not. This generalisation you use is worrying.

So you don't fly enough to have status with an airline to get free lounge access?

I think paid for lounges are just for the great unwashed in that case.
How much does it cost if you want to pay and use the lounge once you're there on the day.

Hi all we are of to New York on Friday and i have noticed it does not guarantee your entry on if space is available. Is this correct and if there is no availability do you get a refund
Thanks

You buy one to use in a specific airport, there are 29 in this country. Actually, I've noticed you can choose 'all airports' (in the UK)
Then it will show you the lounges at that airport (so you know where they are) choose one (I don't think it matters which one) because the ticket i got says any lounge at Heathrow Airport.
The complete list for the UK is

Not really, food and alcohol are not free anywhere in the terminal. That's what's in the lounge.

Well if you look at the voucher when you get it it doesn't actually specify a terminal so you can use it anywhere AFAICT (as I said) You just need to check that there is a Dracon pass lounge in all the terminals you're likely to use.

Nothing worse than a busy lounge - and one filled with people who get a bit silly. Meant to be a place to escape the riffraff. Gatwick is one of the worst. Hope my opinion/factual perspective doesn't offend anyone!!

Is there only one at Gatwick where this pass is valid (there are two termiinals)
Personally, I think it's useful to air opinions here about specific lounges

Gatwick south can be bad. Heathrow generally have much better options with these deals
Cheers OP. Considering this for Stansted on Weds as that is one airport that you could do with any sort of refuge from.
