I'm going to try the demo first before deciding to plunge. I wonder, if i get the demo will I still have to download the whole thing or will it be partially downloaded? Probably a stupid question.

Just picked it up. Here's hoping it's as good as the first. Does anyone know if it still runs poorly or has most of that been addressed?

Reviews have been updated saying it got heavily patched and performance issues have been resolved. Although I'd like to hear it from someone who owns the game.

Thought the first Dishonoured was quite good but not as amazing as all the reviews would have you believe.

Is this much better? Or simply more of the same?

I have the game. It's been patched ages ago. It had problems with amd. I have 1070sc and i5 6600k and get 60fps easy maxed out on ultra

I've got a 1060 6GB and although I can't run it on max settings, I can run it one notch down on High and get 60fps. It's a lot better than when I tried it on release (then refunded it!).

Brill game, much better than first.

If you didn't dig Dishonoured I doubt this will change your mind about the series. It's very much the same thing and personally I preferred the first one.

Opted not to buy based on demo. Story and setting doesn't grab me like the first one, nor flows as well. On the plus side, I have a mediocre setup but it ran almost like butter at high and looks beautiful. The finishers are much more deadly and gruesome!
