They had Disney infinity 1&2 for wiiU starter sets and Disney infinity 3 for 360 in my local pound world today, don't know if it's local or countrywide.

Well infinity wasn't all that good as a game, as the figures could only be played in their own stories, rather than mix and match.
Kids only ever seemed to play in the toy box mode which didn't hold their interest for that long

That maybe the case, Although to be honest I enjoyed the star wars levels.

That fact they no longer make or support it doesn't make it any worse.
The inability to download extra levels now created by others is a pain but for £5.... there is still fun to be had.

These were always an expensive Fad.

yep I always bought the old skylanders versions when they £5 in smyths as stocking filers
But even at £5 with infinity I just don't know how much you are going to get out of the starter set without having to buy additional figures

I think home Bargains are selling them for a quid.

I got all the star wars ones and the starter set for about 40 quid all in not that long ago and with all the figures and the three mission packs (and the extras I downloaded before servers went off) it was just about worth it.

The online aspects might be closed, but the base game(s) are still great fun, this is one of the most played games (hours wise) on my xb one (and 99% of that has been with my daughter)

It’s taken a year but I’ve now purchased every single figure now, all still boxed, also made sure I have all of them in single boxes if possible. Especially proud of my Hulkbuster which cost £20.

Bargain, heat added.
