Disney Infinity 3.0 (PS4 or PS3) £15.99 on Playstation Store

Possibly just RRP, but it seems so much cheaper than the standalone retail version of the game that I think it might be a pricing error (I mean it's even cheaper than the digital version of 2.0!)

Just make sure you have a Disney Infinity character, and an infinity base that wasn't from the 360 or XB1 versions of the previous games, and you're good to go.

Might be misreading here, but isn't this just the "toybox" mode? I think if you want one of the "campaigns" you have to buy the sets that include a token to go onto the base.

the digital download is intended for people who already have a base to plug into the console. the download has all content that is included on the disc but you need still need figures and play set pieces to use it.

this is a good deal. it's £23.99 on xbox one if I'm correct. I got the disc version with the star wars double pack on xbox one so I could download this also as my boy has 2.0 limited edition for xmas on ps4 also

if you have disney infinity 2.0 on ps4 or ps3 whichever you are purchasing, you can use the base from that game for infinity 3.0. so rather than buying a starter pack again you can opt to buy the disc only version or the digital version, both are the same but you will still need to buy characters as normal.

Click on buyers Guide, should help you out buddy

The play sets are around £30 so when you add this to the cost of the download you are up at £46, and you can buy the game including the star wars set for £45 . So cold for me.

As an alternative, if you own the base from 2.0 you can get the software plus either the Star Wars or the Inside Out playset from GAME for £39.99, works out cheaper than this. That price applies to PS4, not sure about other consoles.

Personally, I already pre-ordered the software & star wars play set from GAME for £37.01 which was a bargain but will sell the disc for £17 or trade it for £21 in-store credit at CeX when it arrives. Hasn't arrive yet despite being launch day so I'm pretty annoyed about that. I'm glad I got the digital version as I've actually been able to play it where GAME have failed me. Not too surprised this is going a little cold but I'm sure there's people out there like me that will benefit from the digital price (which apparently goes up to the standard RRP for Sony and Nintendo in January).

Don't know why this isn't hot! I got the Xbox version for 23.99 and was happy with that price (can sell my base and disc to cover that price).

Cold. I bought the disc version with inside out playset for £37 from game as well. When you add the 15.99 and £30 for the playset, you are better off with the physical version which you can sell after.

Thats unfair. As the software part goes, this IS the cheapest.
When you tot up the cost of everything, there really is no incentive to not buy the starter packs. Some places work out cheaper to buy a starter pack and bin the base.
Not very green disney!
