It's not on woolies. It's on Toy Arcade.

Won't be many, according to whois, the website was only registered 14 June this year.

Think i'll pass. Site looks very poor. Probably just some CC details harvesting site.

:? mmm?? doesnt seem to have a padlock on the site??
also i clicked on age 11-12 and it only really offers batterys??
my 11 year old will be made up on christmas morning:giggle:

nope i am passing, site looks well dodgy.
poor quality pics.
good find though if its genuine..

I've found you can also access their site by this url 87.106.59.42 ??
Something doesn't seems secure here.
I don't know much about websites, but when i worked at B&Q, we had an address like that to use when training on their website, so although the card details went through, no orders were generated.

I'm begining to wonder if this thread should be removed:?:

I'll abstain from voting on this one.

i did see a padlock on the site but still doesn't reassure me think I'll pass, good offer though if it was genuine , thanks for advice everyone

Thats because the URL you see is actually numbers underneath. All URLs are numbers but translate into words when the creator sets it up.

Contact Info says Jersey, which explains the low prices - tax free.

The website re: duty costs says "We have put in place a scheme with the UK Customs and Excise for us to prepay any duty for you on deliveries within the United Kingdom and these will not be subject to further charges." Lets hope they're right.

Postage rate increases each additional item rather than one delivery charge due to weight increase, so watch out for the cost rise per additional item.

The site is run via a piece of software they update rather than a skilled team like the larger sites which explains the look and feel, however I've been a commercial web designer for ten years and would say from eveything I've seen it tick all the right boxes to be legitimate. Can never be certain though.

Hopes someone grabs a genuine bargain! If so, let us l know!

Absolutely. Poor site, but it's looking legit.

I wanted to order 2 of them for my nephews but they only allow one per order! Very strange.

This is what they say when I try to order 2 sets: "You can only have one of each item in your basket, but should you need more you can place as many orders as you like."
I think that's very strange really. Many people will like to order more than one items to save the shipping fee.

as i have credit on one of my credit cards with internet protection, i have ordered .

thanks heat n rep

I just clicked the link with a view to ordering - it told me that it costs 99.99! When i added it to my basket it showed total 103.99 including postage. Am I doing something wrong - what's going on?!

I have just attempted to make a order and at checkout it said MAC TRUCK £99.99 I am worried now never clicked ok but had taken my card details before this window. They wont be able to get much out of it though not much on it will keep an eye on card though.

Same thing here

Unless it means out of stock

Seems the price has been corrected now showing as £99.99

Looks like people will have orders cancelled for this for such a big misprice, good spot though OP.

Thanks...

now £99.99

normal price cannot be £99.99 its only about £15-£20 in shops

paulsssss

Must be a price hike to stop people from ordering given the previous price blunder.

dodgy looking site and now a rather large price increase. glad i didnt register for that, tho looked ideal for my nephew.

sounds dodgy, their price has just gone up to £99.99 !!! ARGH!! And i emailed them at their email address [email protected] and it bounced back!! AVOID THEM!!

[email protected] doesnt work as stated on their site

Price changed to £12.99 + £4.00 P&P now!

Methinks some credit cards and debit cards are going to get some unauthorised activity shortly.

I do think its a legit site or they wont have changed the price, as more people would give their card details.

I think they realised a number of orders and panicked changed it to £99.99 while thye found the real price and corrected it. £2.99 - £12.99 you can see where the mistake is missing '1'
