Time for a goose chase deal: Rymans are selling their Christmas gubbins off on the cheap. But amongst the plug on consoles full of dodgy arcade knockoffs and half-dozen Monopoly variants they also seem to be selling off copies of Disney Villainous, a surprisingly well received (if a little overly complex considering the theme) board game with a stonking great 7.1 on bgg.

The game doesn't seem to be listed online but it's been spotted both at Leek and Dudley, so have to assume this one's national but offline only, and it wouldn't surprise me if stocks were reasonably limited. Happy Hunting

Great game that I can never get to the table due to it being quite complex. Quite difficult to teach as each deck has different things that it needs to do to achieve victory. Add to that the take that style of the game and it can leave a sour taste in people's mouths.

Not one for the kiddies sadly.

Great price for a well thought out game though.

Terrible game, wouldn't recommend. It's like playing a single player game, there is almost no interaction between players and everyone is playing a different game with different rules and pieces.

I actually disagree. The interaction is excellent with regards to hindering the progress of other player by playing heroes at their base locations. With each player having different abilities, it forces the other players round the table to be more strategic about play in order to win. Put some Disney soundtracks in the bg and its a fab time!

There is only one method of interaction which is to make a player draw a penalty card. You have no idea who is winning because everyone is playing an entirely different game with different pieces and different rules, so you don't know who to target. People across the table you can't even see what they have unless you get out of your chair and walk around and try to figure it out. Basically someone randomly gets chosen and hindered from winning in a completely arbitrary fashion.
Paid full price for this and it’s awful!
It's a great game. Loads of take that interaction if played correctly. Very good themes, lovelly components. It regularly gets played here... Just looking for decent prices for the 2 expansions.

You're playing it wrong. When forcing a player to draw a Fate Card YOU look at their cards and decide which of the two YOU have drawn to keep and add to their Realm. Each player's realm is completely visible throughout and needs to be so you can decide where to place cards to cause the most inconvenience to them.
