I got one of these from Comet when they were half price back in September.

Still haven't used it

Pre ordered one for my girlfriend in Dorset (She's Waffle obsessed), going to pick it up in an hour.

Heat added!

Just the one :whistling:

Brilliant find! Top quality at a give away price. Thanks and merry Christmas. :santa:

I got one of these a few weeks back when they were £10.. have to say it is pretty rubbish. Bit of a palaver to make the waffles and not worth the hassle as they aren't very nice..

I wouldn't bother wasting your money

I suddenly feel vindicated on holding out the purchase of one of these until now. £4.99 is a bargain for a waffle maker (even if they don't resemble a waffle at all). Does anyone know if they come with a recipe booklet or anything? I can't seem to find a recipe that isn't American and measured in cups! And I never find conversions to work well, especially with baking things. BBC Food recipe search was decidedly lacking.

Videojug is always good for food cooking recipe's with videos to go with it

I'm sure I have seen ready made Waffle Mix in the supermarkets. I think you just add water or something.

I will probably only use it once but at this price, I couldn't resist.

Thanks

If you look online and it says out of stock ignore it. I have just tried everywhere local to me Liverpool online and it said out of stock. Just been to two currys and both had plenty. Very solid as well great buy just for the fun element.

Thanks! Picked one up today after reserving online. Our local Currys had them priced at £9.77 on the shelf but when I quoted my online reservation number it came up at £4.99!

got one of these for the missus from teesside park store, shelves were full. we went to disney for the first time this year and they did these for breakfast in our hotel
got home and then my mother wanted 1 plus she wanted 1 for my sister so went to middlesbrough store where they were still loads but mispriced at £9.77

Just picked one up in Torquay! Still out there people - 09/01/09
