Disneyland paris, eurostar, half board, 2 nights, family of 4. £569.10

Disneyland Paris is always quite expensive so this will probably go cold but I thought id post because it incase helps anybody and lowest of seen it for a long time.

14th January 2014
2 nights at the Santa Fe hotel
tickets to both parks
breakfast and evening meals included
and eurostar from london st pancreas.

hotel book through disney direct.. might be cheaper to go on the french version of their website but I couldn't fathom how to do this but some say its cheaper.

Eurostar book it direct with them as a lot lot cheaper than disney direct.. all different departure times so pick what suit you best.

although weather will be chilly in january it will be much quieter and no problem queing for rides/parades etc.

2 days I found was more than enough for disney but for not much more 3 nights is an option I think was around an extra £120.00 total for 2 adults 2 children.
good price for food included as food on site can be extremely expensive.

price also includes the £15 handling fee disney will annoyingly add to your price at the end.

eurostar will not charge anything extra on debit card but will cost £4 on credit card.
Also the eurostar train will take you straight into disney so no need for transfers. Can upgrade the hotel again for a bit more money but have gone for just the cheapest as I found didnt spend much time in the hotel anyway.
various other dates available in january for the same price also.

Apologies on the spelling. was on my phone and trying to post quickly.

would love to do this but the credit card is already melting!

Seems like a good deal for the package.

January though (?)

good deal but beware we went in jan last year and it got to -12 and then we had loads of snow! All that was forecast when we left home was a little rain. Most of our spending money went on extra clothes although there were some good sale prices. saying that my friend has been 3 times in jan before and not had a problem.

we went in jan 2 years ago, it was cold but not snowing like it was back at home. beauty of eurostar is your case can be full of heavy clothes and not get charged like stupid airlines!

Good price but a theme park in Northern France in January? Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

We went last new year, took thermals and snow boots and ended up literally carrying our coats! you can never tell!

Best new year we've ever had, we loved it!

Eurodisney in the cold - never again, it was bitter

any deals for school holidays?

Beware the Santa Fe is OK but a bit bleak looking in the winter. There's quite a bit of walking from your block to the bus and even more if you choose to walk,
What is a nice stroll around in the summer becomes a slog in the winter.Do check also opening hours for parks, can close fairly early in the deep off season.
Grumbling apart,it is a good deal,in particular with meals as food in the park and village area is rip-off city

Actually having checked park hours aren't too bad. Kingdom open to 7 and studios to 6,and a couple of hours longer on weekends.

I soo wish I could go again maybe year after!

Absolutely love Disneyland Paris, Disney Dreams is one of the best things I have ever seen, been the last 2 years and will prob go in 2014, this is a great price but I do like to stay in one of the closer hotels so you don't have to use the buses which can be quite busy, train is better than flying I will admit as well. - Wouldn't mind going in January, last June it was 32 degrees C and humid as hell!

I am very tempted by this deal, but one of my kids is 12, and it seems as soon as I add a child over the age of 10, the price goes up an extra £120! seems a complete ripoff to me. Can someone tell me, do they take i.d for every guest? as I am thinking about saying she is only 10, which will work aslong as they don't ask for her passport or check any details. anyone know if this will work?

ermm I really think they would take passport details at check in. give disney a call maybe n see what there child ages are. I think its 11 but not 100%. worth a try maybe. good luck

yes it is 11 as it asks for the childs age when I get a quote and when I put in above 11 the price goes up by £115.

We paid for the Disney express which is an extra £16 per adult and totally worth it. Check in in the Eurostar, they take your bags to your hotel and you get stuck right in! Plus you can still make use of your magic hours the day you leave because they take your luggage back to the train station. We checked out at 7:20am and was in the park for 8:20... That's after having breakfast and walking from the Cheyenne. Love DLP.

Cheap for the price of DLP , however Santa Fe is not good so worth paying a little more for the next hotel up and we went in jan once and it was so cold we couldn't wait to get back to the hotel room , still heat deserved

If you like something a little different look at efteling in holland, by some a better park if a little smaller but I remember more from there when we went in 1996 than we went to DLP in 2006

You'd think that but then they just put less staff on (a bit like our local Iceland)....so even though it's spartan, you enter a 'blockbuster ride' queue clean shaven but come off the ride with a beard like ZZ-TOP

It's not funny Walt.
