Go and get on folks, its glorious outside!

Works a treat and super easy to light. Mine has been cooking for over an hour now and its not too hat that it just burns the outside of the food

Haha bought it yesterday, honestly hope it works Apparently it's supposed to be hot for up to 1.5 hrs!

Pound world have them also.

My local sold out and I paid £1.99 from pound stretchers and they were crap. Didn't even light properly.

Im using it now, just the jolly job. It suss on the instructions it is "impregnated with a special substance to aid lighting".

used these type's in the past.they actually work but with marinated meats can causes it to flame a little as the grill is very close to the charcoal but for a £1 i was happy with the results

does it work?

careful you don't put these in confined spaces as they can be killers

there tiny!

They are only good for a few burgers if you are out and about.

If you are at home I'd recommend a cheap BBQ for the summer instead of buying a load of these.

Mines done 7 burgers and 10 sausages so far!

I wish people would dispose of disposable bbqs correctly. Our local park is littered with them.

Where can I do bbq outdoor in london? most of the parks don't allow bbq.

If you have really good burgers these things are useless, end up burning them dry

Grr heavy rain all afternoon here .

Have some heat though

where? i'd love some heavy rain here!

Had one yesterday, lasted 30 mins

Greedy **** :P

Had one yesterday. Worked fine and lit fine. Did 2 burgers and 4 pieces of chicken. Could probably have done more but there were only 2 of us

Words I thought I would never hear. Poundland and it Works

Waste of money we bought 3 and it made about 2 burgers each. Buy a 15 quid bbq from argos

Its just common sense you would only use these outside

… and its not too hat that it just burns the outside of the food

I can only think of one thing worse than a barbecue that’s too hat, and that’s a barbecue that’s too scarf. Okay, then, maybe a barbecue that’s too gloves.

Too scarf is the worst!

been cooking for over an hour?

i suggest you get off the computer and attend to your burning sausages asap

Not a hot deal. Just because it works doesn't mean its good value. Everything in Poundland in £1 you don't see every product they have that works on here?

we had one this week and it lasted about 90 minutes, we had to put it out in the end with water !
Great deal £1 - cant go wrong

They're £1.97 in Asda and they're the same size so this is very hot from me, thanks op

well stupid people have nothing good to give to the world so no need for them really

Put them on top of real barbeque, cheaper than the charcoal and firelighters you would ordinarily use and also very easy to clear up afterwards.

win

This is sound advice. Can testify to it. Not bad this.

I have a different understanding of this story than you clearly. From what I read the family cleared what they thought was a burnt out barbecue into the porch of their tent, rather than leave it outside for the wildlife to get at. Hardly a tragedy though.

The fact everything is £1 from Poundland doesn't preclude this from being good value

I have bought these twice, first time worked great, second was OK ( i ended up finishing the food in the grill to make sure it was cooked but it was probably fine). I did it in an area that was probably a bit windy to be honest.
Much prefer these to the faff I have gone through now I have bought a proper barbecue.

Indeed, can't believe anyone thought it would be a good idea in a tent to keep warm ! Very silly.

I would have thought that a poundland in Vilnius would be catering to a relatively niche market anyway
