Heat. Picked this up the last time TGC had it discounted about a month ago and have been plodding away through it but enjoying every minute of it since. Must have nearly 20 hours put into it and I'm still in the first area

Found the first one hard to get into and dropped it after about 5 hours. Finding this one a bit more engaging. Still a steep learning curve until you get used to it but the world and characters you meet are great, there's just so much to do in it. Looking forward to making a serious dent in it over the Christmas holidays. Added bonus for me, I'll most likely get back to the first once after this now as I'll have a much better idea of the mechanics.

I'm thinking of getting it on PC as it looks like a better way to control a CRPG. Its down to £16ish on GOG. I have the first game on xbox one though so might give that a go over xmas and see how I get on.

The addition of pre-made characters in 2 with their own backstories definitely makes it easier to get in to, for me at least. Could see the advantages of mouse with this one. Controls fine on Xbox for the most part but can be a bit awkward at times when your trying to cast a spell on a specific team mate or enemy and it takes a few efforts to target them. Its a pity the cross-play feature on the Switch version only works with Steam as I'd actually consider getting it on Switch if it was compatible with Xbox.
