I tried ordering some a few weeks ago, your basket remains empty. Can't see how to do it.

Try a different browser? Maybe only works with IE. Amazing how many sites don't work with the better browsers.

Tried with FF and IE. If it means 'upgrading' to IE9 they can shove it.

Isn't it £3 at B&Q anyway if you pick it up yourself?

Ok just tried on IE7 and it works now woohoooooo lol.

Always seems out of stock. Thats if they even still do the £3 stuff.

My local B&Q (Mansfield) had a load of rolls of Rockwool in at £1 each when I went in a week or two ago (no idea if they're still there now).

They tend to always be sold out. IIRC this not only gets delivered to your door you also get an installation kit (Gloves, facemask, googles)

Don't forget gloves and face masks with all insulation materials

Make sure you get a mask, some gloves and wear clothes you dont mind binning when installing - this stuff is more irratating than a certain babyfaced rapper that uses this forum - if it gets under your skin.

Don't forget gloves and face masks with all insulation materials

SAFETY KIT INCLUDED - Safety goggles, safety mask, gloves and Installation Guide (which you can also read below) supplied and delivered with your insulation.

hot, thanks

I think that is a very vague hint. Some people quailify for a completely free installation through some organisations.

If someone in Derby wants a load like 15 full rolls then contact me.

That's what i thought they were implying too .

Anyway, thank you OP,hope i've ordered enough whilst guessing the size of my loft lol

I used the same offer last year. great price but a horrible job to do .
Made a noticeable difference to the warmth in the house though.
It comes with a PPE kit and you will need a cross cut or ripsaw (one of the wobbly ones Rolf Harris used to play tunes on) cheap ones are about £5.

One of the main benefits of this scheeme is that it is delivered. I needed 16 rolls which would be about 8 trips to b&q in an estate car.

It was a good excuse to have a loft clear out too.

Buy it before it runs out. And it will.

Purchased some rolls back in December plus a few extra in February. I chose the 170mm - 3.84m2 roll. It's heavier and denser in texture than standard loft insulation and the roll lengths are shorter than usual this must be due to it's weight. Saying that it doesn't throw off as much fibre dust when fitting. The face mask and goggles supplied are okay for two minutes but your breath usually steams up your goggles and you end up slinging them off because you can't see (which when working in a loft is essential LOL! ). It seems to be one of the best deals and delivered to your door so you can't go wrong.

Its a good deal, I did two houses but word of warning. I shockingly over estimated my needs, I sold enough to my next door neighbour to do there house, still had 9 rolls over. They do restock for free, but getting them to collect required many calls and they failed to collect several times, then getting the credit back on to the card equally required loads of calls. But we got there eventually.

I bought it last year same time and did all by myself. they are easy to handle as they are more stiffer (keep in shape) than the other one which I bought from home base

Great been meaning to redo parts of ours for ages.
