Found a great bargain today in Walsall home bargains.

A kit to make your own wedding post box.

Very strong ivory card, just add your own decoration, ribbons.

Like the one in the picture, they also has butterflies to buy separately to decorate.

Sorry couldn't upload image on iPad, it's the cardboard box design which you can personalise.

Will have to pop down this weekend to find this, any pics please OP?

I bought one today,no butterflies though ,will have to look for something to decorate it with.
Very pleased.
It's next to the cards etc.

Saw this at Home Bargains, Perry Barr, Birmingham but have to admit that I wondered what a wedding post box is actually for!

What is it for?

Its a bit like a guest book, guests can write a good luck wish on a piece of paper and "post it" to the happy couple for them to read at a later date, or it could be used to collect the guests wedding cards at the reception.

Thanks, I actually need one of these not the wedding but the post box. Will be looking for it tomorrow!!

Another gimmick!!

I bought this and am struggling to make the lid up can anybody help? TIA

I think it's to keep all the cards in one place. Hence the name. Obviously you can use it for whatever you like. I bought one for cards to be posted in on the day.

How is this a gimmick? It's a post box for the wedding cards to go in!
