Ahh, this has brought back some memories! I loved the Dizzy games. I still have my C64 together with my entire collection of games (which includes several Dizzy titles). Going to have to see if this is available on the App Store or Amazon Fire TV.

Which game was it that you go into a cauldron and you had an upside down screen? Was one of my fav games as a child. Never got to complete it.

Yea it's Fantastic Dizzy.

No idea the first time round but this looks like such a happy game.
Need more happiness.

As a huge fan of the Dizzy series (spectrum owner) I was so excited when they released this however as much as it's brilliant it's incredibly short. They seriously need to extend it or release full 'HD' versions of the originals.

Brilliant games. Had them all and wore them all out on my Speccy. Completed them all except for the original 'Dizzy'. Zaks always blasted me with his lightning bolt on the very last screen of the game. It was no yolk!

I'm not 'shelling' out for this though. Ah, thank the lordy lord for Speccy emulators!
Fantastic Dizzy on the Megadrive was truly awesome too!

Heat for any people new to the delights of Dizzy!

Had all these on spectrum. Hard work on a tablet though without "keys"

Class! Them were the days

I got Dizzy and Fast Food Dizzy free when my parents bought me my Amstrad CPC 464 (tape drive, we weren't rich) and I played it in several shades of glorious green on my green screen monitor So many hours climbing a tree without rolling off LOL

KM

Hello childhood, good to see you again.

I still have these games on a Atari st, they are in my loft X)

wow this brought back memories of my amstrad cpc 464.....now i feel old thanks op. Heat added anyway

Nostalgia at it's best

Seriously, don't bother. Bought this when it came out and it's so buggy it's unplayable.

I was super young at the time. I gotta be like 6. I think you have like a jungle set of housing if I recall, tree houses with wooden bridges. It's been like 20 years since I've seen it. I had played the one from the deal above on iOS last year, wasn't that one.

Super Young?

Strange... Ground seems hollow!

The original dizzy has been remade for PC, heres a link of it on youtube

youtube.com/wat…wok

It's available free for those who can google.

I heartily recommend this website for all things Dizzy related yolkfolk.com/diz…ge/ along with a Dizzy game creator, which I find a little difficult to use but theres many fan made games on there.

commodore 64, syntax error, ahhh those were the days !!

It's been this price for well over a year.

I used to have these games on my Amstrad CPC464.

Yeah I bought it a year or two back on IOS and had it completed in under 40 minutes. Bit of a shame because I loved the Dizzy games growing up!

I had that for the Spectrum, to this day it's probably the best Christmas present I ever received.

Love the dizzy games. I never forget getting dizzy to use a bottle of whiskey and then he started rolling and jumping all over the place uncontrollably. Still makes me chuckle.

I used to love Dizzy back in the day, I had all the games on the Spectrum, of which Magicland Dizzy was by far the best, spent ages figuring out some of the puzzles in that game. Fantastic Dizzy on the Megadrive was also a very good game and I believe the last Dizzy game till this remake (it originally came out for the 8 bit computers many years ago). Sweet nostalgia.

Back on topic, is this actually on sale though? I thought it was always £1.49 and it doesn't seem to say anything on the page about it being on sale either.....

Much as I love Dizzy, I think in todays crowded app space they want to be selling this under a pound to stay competitive...

A very short game, not really worth it to be honest.

My favourite game series ever! from Spectrum to Mega Drive loved them all.
got this on day of release, it's got bugs but it's Dizzy so who cares? wish the full sereis would get the HD makeover!

Shame the Kickstarter project never really took off that build looked incredible. .
oh the memories!!

Like others have said, thought this was £1.49 normally? Sure I saw it for this price when I noticed it was on the Play (and Apple App store) before.

What were they trying to do on kickstarter?

I would love to see a HD remake of all the old 8 bit computer Dizzy games spliced together as one huge Dizzy world and adventure. I think any single Dizzy game would seem a bit short by modern standards (though I still think Magicland Dizzy or Fantastic Dizzy would hold up pretty well) but altogether they would make one awesome adventure!

Unfortunately, the one Codemasters did decide to remake (Prince of the Yolkfolk) was one of the shortest and easiest of the Dizzy adventures so won't provide a great deal of game for your money. Perhaps they wanted an easy one to start with to test the waters. As they haven't remade any more Dizzy games I fear the response was poor, which is a shame.

Yeah I can't believe they don't just re-do them in HD for tablets/phones. I think they were just testing the water with this which is why it's so short, but there seems to be a lot of love for it, so can't understand why they don't slowly re-do them all in full!

I'd certainly buy them all despite having completed them all on Speccy/Amiga back in the day!
