It’s not a remake it’s a tribute to the 1970’s Spaghetti Westerns in particular the Django movies. It’s an original movie though. Franco Nero who played Django in the 1970’s has a cameo in Tarantino’s movie. Django Unchained would have had a completely different story with this guy.

As everyone else has been quick to point out it isn't a remake but I understood what you meant and agree.
Great film, but there's no way you could use any of the quotes on Fascistbook
