Just to confirm is this a new customer for credit account? Generally been satisfied with very’s service so far but can’t access my statement for over a month now on BNPL

Sorry, forgot there is £75 cap for that code. £4 more without registering the Very credit account.
What sort of price have people seen the fly more combo going down to? I'm pretty keen to buy one, but not in a massive hurry so willing to wait if they're likely to go down much further.

Thanks for this one. I never searched passed the £459 mark, forgetting the discount drops it waaaayyyyy lower. Cheapest I've seen, especially in stock. Bought.

Both the very & the eBay with 20% off voucher are pretty good prices. Wexphotography were doing £30 off £359 but they were out of stock and obvs a bit more. I've been looking for a while now and have gone for the eBay. Price may come down but I imagine in 6 months to a year when the mini 2 comes around.

Cameracentre UK / eBay were selling it for at £459.00 (£368.00 with code) before greed got the better of them and raised it to £499.00 (minutes after the code was released)
Does this work on any item?

£41.91 seems random amount for a discount?!

They did make some changes to how you view your BNPL. Have a good look around at the tabs and options if you haven't all ready.

Still can't see anything. I think my account is broken or something during this transition. Even if I click on my most recent orders there is nothing there. If I click on a statement it says a statement cannot be viewed at this time and it's been like that for weeks now. Tried to ring them but can't be bothered to hold on the line for so long to be honest
I would do a quick search online on the Mavic mini’s, there is a load that have just lost connection with the controller and flown away, it might not happen to everyone but worth making people aware as £400 is a lot to lose and DJI won’t cover it.
£413 from Apple if you use blue light. Aware some people picked them up for £370ish but can't see that happening again for a while.
Really wanted one earlier in the year, but now have no money or places to go

DJI WILL cover it if it is a fault with the drone. I and many others can read the flight data on DJI forums (to help those who are worried about this kind of issue) and find the point where the drone made an error, DJI will replace it if it was not pilot error. Not surprisingly most of the flight data I've seen on the mini was still pilot error.

If you're a new pilot and worried about accidents look into DJI Refresh

It was actually £384 as the discount is capped at £75.
I ordered about 30 minutes before the price went up luckily.

DJI won’t cover a fly away with DJI refresh, you need to have your drone to claim on refresh so like you said for accidents and you can retrieve the damaged drone then DJI refresh might be worth it for some people , if you keep VLOS then personally I think you should be ok.

From what I have seen people don’t let them get a satellite connection before taking off and fly in ATTI mode or perform and accidental emergency shut off.

I’m not getting into DJI paying out on faults with drones or user error, I’m just advising people to look into it before parting with their money as there is enough information out there available to make an informed decision.

While not wrong about Refresh - if pilots follow the VLOS rules you will not lose the drone. It's easy to get a bit over-ambitious but your drone won't take a spontaneous trip to Florida, you should be able to see it and where it lands. It is user error if it just disappears.

Before buying this, make sure your phone is compatible with the app needed to fly it - 'DJI Fly' app (Works on iPhones since the iPhone 6 I think, but not so well supported on Android phones - needs 64bit version). Great drone for the price.

I've never had any problems at all but like you say, you should always have VLOS and I'm going to guess a lot of people don't. The types of people buying these generally won't have much of a clue what they are doing and again, like you say, are probably flying it incorrectly with regards to satellites etc. I think this is a great little drone for the money that can achieve some great footage even when compared to much more expensive alternatives.

Now the deal has ended cameracentre have put the price back down to £459. Surely eBay should be clamping down on this sort of thing. In all fairness though, £368 was undercutting everyone else by a huge margin - hell of a deal.
I have just used the "welcome" code for 10%, tracked with quidco for another 10% so maybe £371.79....

Ill let you know.
Far too slow. Cold

What's too slow?

The drone. It's much too slow and you can't use it to deliver parcels

It can go at 37mph in sport mode when not against the wind, which is much faster than average for drones. I've had one for a few months now and it's actually very fast.

And you can deliver parcels with it - it has a 'payload mode' you can enable to compensate for the extra weight if you tape a parcel to the top. Obviously it would have to be a small parcel since the drone is so small, but it's been done before - check Youtube and you'll see loads of examples. The range might be an issue but if you enable FCC mode, you could probably deliver up to about 3km or so (or more if you're not in a built up area).
