Cheapest I found so far. I believe Argos was doing this deal a while ago but that's no longer available.

I do believe they are clearing these drones as they are the older generation and making way for the Mavic 2 which has just come out. Still an amazing drone!

Please be very very careful buying from Drones direct.

There are all sorts of issues from selling counterfeit batteries and then not providing refunds for faulty items.

More details are in the thread below.

By the way some Argos stores have platanium pro combo stock so if you speak to their sales desk in store they can check stock on stores internally and will be able to order one for you from a store which has stock.

I purchased mine from Argos after they stopped listing on their website.

Buyer beware, see the old thread on Drones Direct, that numerous people received dead batteries, which could not be charged, and experienced various levels of success in getting Drones Direct to honour distance selling regulations.

Its simple as going on DJI live chat and get it fixed. Took 10 days. Got a label, UPS collection from my house and replacement delivered also.
You dont need to deal with drones direct at all for warranty.

Question to anyone who knows about drones: this or the Costco Mavic Air (same price)? Mainly for aerial tracking while mountainbiking ..... I’ve had a look online, but am genuinely confused about which is better, and would appreciate any real world advice 🤘🏼

I found this one and posted here but for me ( a non pro that doesn't require the pro features ) I went with the Mavic Air from CostCo!

I spoke to DJI and their first response was to go back to reseller since the goods sold were faulty out of the box. And that's exactly the law mate !

Beside why the heck would you help a dodgy company shift their faulty stock and then go through the hassle of claiming warranty and possibly receive a refurbished battery with a different colour than the drone.

Because clearly Dronesdirect cant be bothered. DJI sent me a sealed white battery, never told me to contact drones direct. Its already resolved where as with dronedirect you could be waiting weeks, which most people are.

Well I'd say you've been lucky mate. If you read DJI T&Cs, they can provide a refurbished as a warranty replacement and nothing you can do about that.

You pay a premium price so claiming warranty would be the last thing I would like to think out of the box beside after my experience I feel it ethically and morally wrong to do business with a company like drones direct.

I recently purchased the Mavic Pro white from Drones Direct, got it for £650 which I thought was a good price. One of the batteries that came with the drone was faulty so I contacted DJI directly. There was absolutely no issue with them replacing the battery foe a new one which took 2 weeks. This wasn't an issue as the drone had 3 batteries so I was running with 2 for a while. The drone is really good, far exceeded my expectations. For travel it really adds a dimension to your videos, I do lots of stuff with action cams, this is a great addition. I didn't have any issues with drones direct.

I think if you are not doing long range flights the Air is better. It has a slightly better video bitrate, is smaller and lighter. What put me off the air is the lack of lcd on the remote and the shorter battery life. The Air does have some new features that the pro doesn't. Whilst all the drones can track, there will be mixed results. There's some great vids on youtube..
DO NOT BUY VIA THIS COMPANY!!!! SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN STUNG IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS!!! I don't know how deals from this company keep getting allowed by admin. Its dodgy, selling dodgy stock, terrible customer service and return policy that is seeing people having no cash and no drone left.
I have reported them to trading standard. It seems I'll have to go through small business claims court to get my refund.

I already have a credit card transaction dispute undergoing.

They are dodgy to the point that they want just to extract your cash and then there's no going back for a return or refund even if you receive a faulty item.

I still haven't received my refund yet. I had an email off them 4 days ago explaining I will have the money within 48 hours. I'll be phoning my credit card provider tomorrow.

No need! The money is now back in my account. 6 weeks after emailing them to let them know I wanted to return it.
Really odd the comments, but perhaps I was lucky. After my order was accepted amazon had the 20% off deal on warehouse stock. I contacted DD to let them.know I'd be refusing delivery. They asked why and I explained. They immediately refunded my account a price match with amazon. I was really happy with that... it does seem the service is very hit and miss..
Drones direct were very good at sorting out the battery issue with the white mavic pro for me as well. They replaced 2 faulty batteries with 2 new ones and they even sent them to me before receiving the other 2 back. So I agree with Mrlossy above, their customer service seems to be a bit of hit and miss.
