Consider Import duties/VAT , lack of warranty and inability to return and you may want to think twice about spending your hard earned with a Chinese seller
Just my 2 cents. I think waiting for mavic air would be a better option?

I am still weighing up my options, the mavic air looks great and the upgraded features are awesome not to mention the price! but it is a lot smaller which means less time in the air, less distance and potentially less stability in the wind. At the moment its either a second-hand mavic pro or a brand new mavic air from the official website

And members keep telling me (whenever I post a similar warning ) . That "everyone " knows who these many Chinese companies are . Banggood ,Geekbuyer ,Eglobalcentral ,Gearbest, Tobydeals ,Ali express, Tomtop, Zapals etc, etc, to name but a few .

They do state on their 'About Us' page that "eglobal central also offers 30 days return policy and 24 months warranty for majority electronics products".

But customers actual experience of these could be a different story...

The Mavic air has less flight time and less range than the Mavic pro. I’d be looking for more capability not less.
Personally I would go for the Air. 6 minutes difference in air time is neither here nor there really. Still 21 minutes from the Air
The Air is more of an upgrade to the Spark than the Mavic...

No import duties if you fly it from the supplier yourself.

Presumably that would be " flying under the radar " 😃

Personally for me as a general consumer that bit of downgrade for the price is acceptable. Depends on your need I believe.

Mavic can do the full 21 mins where as the Air will only do about 15mins. No Ocusync technology on the Air.

I'd go for the Mavic as it's been out a while and any problems you have with it, you can find info online to correct them.

DJI are quoting 21 minutes on the Mavic air according to their website.

Do you own a DJI drone? You never get what's advertised. Probably 5mins less than what's advertised to preserve the life of the liPo battery.
Brrr chilly in here ! - Biggest risk is warranty - or lack of, since DJI will insist on it being sent back to China & who picks up the tab ?

Doubt very much you'll get 21 mins from the Air. This is usually based on no wind and a lower speed.

Yes I've got a Phantom and I do get pretty much the advertised time from it.

My phantom is used for filming and photography. Not everyone flies at full speed for any length of time.

I'd go for the Mavic based on flight times and size. Flight times may not be critical between the two initially however as the batteries age your wish you'd had the higher capacity.

Horses for courses I suppose. But based on the specification I can’t imagine the air giving you the “ bloody hell that’s incredible” you get with the Mavic the first time you fly it.
Got mine today from them perfect condition. Also sealed
