The Argo £282 deal for the Mini 3 Fly more combo will always go down in HUKD history

Is the DJI Refresh package worth it for this drone? Or do DJI get awkward when you need a replacement?
    Mr_Villers's avatar
I used it for my mini 2 (which incidentally developed a common fault after around 12 months and minimal use!). They replaced the drone, it took a few weeks and there is a bit of bad translation to deal with but once you get it back to Holland for examination the turn around is pretty quick

Better to get both from Very, sign up for credit and get 20% off

    858 + 159 = £1017- 20% = £813.60
    mjj4's avatar
I would have done this but I used the 20% off on a pixel 7 pro and s23 so used up my offer with very

Looks like the pan is not smooth at all! Disappointed as the picture quality is good, albiet a little flat colour and contrast wise.
    ghow007's avatar
If you’re referring to the video a couple of posts above, forget that. You can change pan speed so it’s lovely and smooth, and so many other settings. If set up correctly this can give very professional looking results, and post processing is obviously useful if needed. Have a look at some YouTube vids taken with one of these to get a better idea.

Be wary of flight rules when buying these, you can't just fly them anywhere because they're under the 250g limit. You also have to register a licence online in order to fly at all.

Also be very careful flying abroad, I've been using this model for the last 2 months round Europe while travelling and stopped 3 times by police. Fines are usually upwards of €150. I've found that you basically can't fly these:

    - in cities
    - in national parks

This is in addition to the (fairly useless) DJi live map which claims to show no fly zones (it doesn't).

Good fun to use though but yeh please keep the above in mind.

    Thought this was 249g?

Slightly cheaper here, although only 2 left at time of posting
    ebay.co.uk/itm…229
Use code SUMMERTIME10 to get down to £814 plus possible 2% quidco on top, so could be around £800
    Dhiraj1's avatar
Doesn't come with the fly more kit

guys , dji care and refresh is £75 here store.dji.com/uk/…811 is there anywhere else you can buy it from ie amazon/argos etc only cos i have some gift vouchers ?

Has anyone decided whether it's worth going for the DJI refresh on the mini 3 pro or not? 2 years for £119. I know it's personal preference but I couldn't find much information about people's experiences with DJI refresh if they crash/lose the drone and how often claims get paid out Vs rejected. I have had a phantom 3 pro and Mavic Pro so not overly worried without it, but it would be nice to be able to fly it on intelligent flight modes without any worry at all if I can get it replaced for £69 in the event of a crash.

10% topcashback, so a further £85 off (edited)
    P01N7's avatar
Are you sure it’s 10% (actually 8.5%) because there’s also a new customer tech for 2.55% which I’d have thought this is.
  9. essence77's avatar
I’m not sure go for this or try avata
    azza452's avatar
Can pretty much fly anywhere with the mini 3 pro due to 249g

Fly More Kit wasn't in stock anywhere near me (closest was 1hr30 drive away) but refreshed quite a few times and now picking it up tomorrow 2 miles from my house. Worth a go if anyone in the same position. Not sure if they're adding more stock or it came out of someone else's basket or something. (edited)

does the extended range batteries mean the mini 3 pro goes over 250g, so would need the course and licence to fly legaly?
    mick2me's avatar
The Fly More package includes 2 extra standard batteries, which do not put it over weight. Fly More referes to triple flight time with three batteries instead of 1.

Anyone seen one with the fly more kit in the north east?
    Dhiraj1's avatar
Nope been refreshing on and off since when the deal was posted
  14. c58's avatar
Does anyone who is up on these drones know whether this is a good purchase? Is there likely to be a new mini pro 4 coming out soon etc?
I'm quite keen on picking one up and it seems like going under the 250g limit is the way forward but would rather not buy something and then it being put of date immediately
    Rolefitleader's avatar
Hi,there is talk of a release of a mini 4 in the near future which is post to be in the same under 250g mark with a even better camera and more sensors I think.there quite a few pictures floating around YouTube.i have the mini 3 and the avata I must say that the mini 3 has definitely been my go to drone ,very portable and minimum noise pretty good picture & video quality from such a small drone.
I think this make a very good travel companion.if you can get the fly more package with it at this price it's not a bad deal. (edited)

OOS, tbh, cos fly more combo:

    “Sorry

Collection is not available in any of our stores.”
    P01N7's avatar
Incorrect. Still available for me at local stores.
  16. yiu's avatar
Does the click and collect store have to have both in stock? All my closest stores say that the fly more combo will be available by Friday. But the drone is in stock. Is it best to wait for both to be available for pick up?
    Winterwolf's avatar
    No they dont.
Add the deal into your basket, and you will be given 2 collection numbers on your email.

Monday I picked up the drone and a mem card, and my email said the fly more pack will be ready to pick up today.

Bought! Had £78 nectar vouchers and managed another £30 discount via BLC discount on giftcards, so £751 total cost. Cheers OP, worked out great for me. Just gotta sell my original mavic pro bundle now!

How do I get BLC discount on gift cards :/ . I do have a BLC but didn't know you could do that ?

Good deal but the most amazing deals seem to be on used Mini 2s. Loads for sale for what is still an amazing drone which will do for most people's needs. You don't even need a care package on it because if you crash it, it often survives and even if not, selling the spares gets most of your money back and you can get another one off Ebay, Gumtree or Marketplace. We are living in drone nirvana!
  37. eastangliauk's avatar
Amazing drone even the other week when quite windy it went really well when I needed to get a video shoot. never even get a wind warning.

Cheers managed to get the deal with the fly more kit for £859, £12.88 cash back…
For those still looking for this deal, there was none near me but loads around London so i’m getting a relation to collect mine…worth a thought if you can get someone to pick it up for you
    Kevvo77's avatar
Yes same, do you know why only £12.88 and not 10% as shown?
  39. speediemc's avatar
There’s some in stock in Richmond and Chiswick in London
