Great price for this handy little Gimbal from DJi. Newer model which has a larger battery and is lighter than the original. Refurbed by DJi themselves, and comes with a 12 month warranty.

Currently showing as a pre-order item, but after speaking to them it should be in stock from today / tomorrow for dispatch.

You can’t share your story of the day with a video or photo that is shaky and all over the place, it just doesn’t sit right with the eyes. Even with image stabilisation and gyroscopes, you’ll find that the hands or a selfie stick don’t meet your expectations.

This is where the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 comes in. A handheld gimbal designed specifically for smartphones, bundled with its app, your videos and photos, your stories, will be one step above the rest.

The Osmo Mobile 2 allows you to capture video with cinematic movement, not available with your regular selfie stick and for those that take advantage of the ever increasing quality of smartphone cameras, this is a fantastic feature that will elevate your work.

Featured on the Osmo Mobile 2 is a set of controls that allow you to control the gimbal and smartphone itself, through the app which connects via Bluetooth. This eliminates the need to even touch the phone itself, knocking it during a shot. The joystick will swivel the gamble on its axis, while the record button doubles as a photo button by holding it in.

There’s also a zoom function on the side and a USB port to charge your smartphone with the 15 hour battery of the gimbal itself.

I'm sure that's the price including delivery. Luckily I'm not too far from them to pick up for free. Just paid £89.99

Edit: realised OP stated that's price including delivery. Needs to be updated unless I'm missing something.

I've got one of these and they are brilliant. Even at £130 it's a great buy IMHO. No idea how good dji support is but if has one year dji warranty then should be worth it.

Just ordered many thanks
Great bit of kit but a bit ropey at times with jittery footage if your phone has mechanical optical image stabilising, for example iPhone X,
What if the clamp presses on the side buttons ?????
Will this fit a Samsung galaxy note 8?

"The Osmo Mobile 2 supports smartphones 58.6-84.8 mm wide and up to 8.4 mm thick. This covers most phones currently available, from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6s Plus and Android phones of similar size. Please note that actual compatibility might be affected by accessories attached to your phone. Certain form factors including side button layout should also be considered"

I was wondering about this and was hoping it had been fixed.

Hiw how bad is it in reality with the iPhone X. It’s hard to find an objective review on YouTube as obviously no one wants to offend DJi.
price gone up?? £129.99 now...
Is this sold out now?
Ashame would have purchased at £90
Good deal. got one of these for like £150 last year
The zhiyun smooth series sell for this price and are a vast amount better.

Really? Which model is better than this? Maybe I'll be better off with that.
Any 1 know of any good ones for a camcorder?

I own both. Osmo 2 is pretty much a copy of smooth Q except the DJI app is much better. Zhiyun app is pretty poor although most of the main the functions don't need the app on either.

It’s not that bad. I have one (actually off on ebay as I’ve got a FreeFly now) and didn’t find it to be a huge problem. I mostly shoot slow tight cinematic movements. Concentrate on steady movement and it will minimise the jitters.

Why you went with a Freefly and which model did you get?
Do not buy if you have an iPhone X or 8s. The optical image stabilization in your phone interferes with the gimbal and you get crap footage.

I use mine with my iPhone X and it works absolutely fine - no issues at all.

Edit: I took mine on holiday at the weekend and for some reason every video I took had the conflict which it didn't have when I tested it at home. I sent it back! It's really bad.

This is exactly what I mean.

How how can it be “crap” and “fine”?

i can’t understand how DJI would get it so wrong. Or did they?

Can be pretty noticeable if you are moving around a lot

Free Movi. Fancied it as I prefer the way you hold it nice and tight. It also has a handy mic fitting accessory and from most reviews seems to be the best and has the most potential. Then again. It is over double the price.
From using the DJI Osmo Mobile 2, I have found minor jitters with faster movements but mostly by keeping the movements controlled, tight to the body and slower, you should get less jitter. I also use Filmic Pro and shoot at 4K. Now they have the option to turn of the Software based OIS. This does not of course fix the hardware OIS issues. I found leaving the stabilisation on in the setting gives the best image and stabilisation whole shooting at 4K.

I did not bother with the magnet hack for the OIS.

Overall, the DJI is better than not having one imo. But it depends what you shoot and your shooting/movement styles.

ALL gimbals are the same. The issue lies with Apple and there latest handsets. You could always wait till Apple comes up with a solution (perhaps newer phones will have the option to turn hardware based OIS off) or you can try a different phone without OIS.

I've been researching the DJI and mostly looking at the Zhiyu Smooth 4 / Smooth Q comparisons. Haven't heard much about the Yi which I gather is from Xiaomi.

Most of the reviews say stick to DJI for the quality Go app, compatibility with various devices, ergonomics and it has the best active tracking too.

Did do a little comparison and found the Dji to be better

I edited my post. Whilst it was fine in all my testing indoors, having taken it out to a beach while on holiday last weekend, all the footage is truly awful. I sent it back to Amazon. Would have been smoother to not have it.
