This is a great camera, match it with the wheel controller and wireless module and you have a very versatile camera. DGI have an offer with a free extension rod for £279 just in case you need that accessory. Great price. Heat added
Wireless Module and Extension Rod are a must for this fantastic piece of kit.
I use mine for hiking using it with a shoulder clip and time-lapse. Amazing little camera

Does it offset the instability that much? Got any examples of the footage you have shot?

I've used it twice and tried 5 sec interval and 2 sec, 5 secs makes the footage too fast and 2 secs makes it too jittery so will be looking to try 3 secs. I also found that the picture wasn't always facing the direction I was walking because I had it on the should strap at chest height. I'm going to mount it on my shoulder instead and try that. I don't have any footage uploaded unfortunatley.

Looking online it looks like the Pocket has the option for horizon lock so the gimbal always centres on the horizon (tilt-lock) so that should solve the recording angle problem as well.

If you are intersted, I use it with these two to make it all work:

The holder has charging port access at the bottom so I have added an angled USB C cable to connect to a powerbank as the hikes tend to be at least 2 hours so the battery runs out otherwise (amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1)

I hope this helps
