Thought it was a good price the other week when I got it at £389 can only find refurbished models at this price elsewhere

I know the Mavic is better and the P3 advanced is better but for the price it's a seriously good drone!

Great price for a great drone. I’ve had one for a couple of years. The range is ample if you are to comply with UK legal limits and it’s rock solid and easy to fly even in wind. Only thing is it’s big and bulky to carry so if weight is an issue get the Spark or Mavic (which cost more). 2.7k video scaled down to 1080p or up to 4K is good quality. You can see some videos I’ve shot with this drone here: youtube.com/use…phy

What's the range on the Phantom 3? And I assume it'll go higher than the 120m suggested by Argos?

120m is the legal limit you can fly a drone at without a license so I doubt it will go higher

not sure on range but I'll ask the husband when home as he will know

Gearbest are doing the Phantom 3 SE for £371 with code DJIPh18 . That boasts 4k range, 4k camera and vision positioning system. If you do buy one get it by snail mail, there's less chance of being stung by custom fees.

Cracking price for a decent entry level drone. Amazon are doing the same price, presumably to match Argos. falcon65 is right to point out cheaper deals at places like gearbest but I would prefer to buy from Amazon or Argos unless the price difference was pretty significant.

Not forgetting you can get another £35 off if you have Barclays Blue Rewards, and £3.49 Quidco.

I wouldnt mind betting it comes back down to £349.00 again
Maybe on black Friday?

Amazon have also put the price up to £499 but they still have a few used ones on Amazon Warehouse at decent prices.

Think they are matching Argos £10'voucher bac, difference is Argos look like they have stock everywhere whereas Amazon none and no expected date. It's no longer being made by DJI so guessing sold out and reason for such a good price

Just as I was weakening.......back to £499 at Argos this morning.
Pribably to come down again Bkacj Friday, but not much stock left now.

I think Black Friday will all be about the Mavic as no one has done any promotions on that in ages! Even maplin when they reduced all
the sparks didn’t do any deals on the Mavic

I've actually decided to go for the SE now over the standard, only because of the 4k(future proof)and extended flight distance.

Hopefully can pick up a good deal over black Friday.

dont pay anymore than £350 for the standard model ive just been and bought phantom 3 se ..2 mile range on that its good for the money and a 4k camera aswell only payed £408 from hk including taxes about 1 half weeks delivery but worth the wait !!! ive seen that offer posted on here through tomtop.com.... hope this helps a bit
