Changed to Amazon now that it's back upto £519 in Maplin. 1-3 week wait.
Yes, the fly more is better.
Yes, the mavic is better.
Yes, there are all sorts of laws and whats not.
Yes, there's no controller with this one (you can use your phone, face or hand)
Yes, you can justify buying it now.
I think this is a great deal to be honest. Especially with Christmas coming up.

I saw that. 50% more is a lot. For 400 there is a lot of fun to be had with one of these. I’ve got a Mavic myself, but this one is a bit more fun.
Fly more gives you a extra battery and the controller. You really need these to get there best out of it.
True. But it’s a big jump when you can get down to 400 for this. Batteries can be had for about 50. It’s the controller that’s expensive.
If you have been wondering if you should make the plunge, then this is a great spot by the OP. If you think flying using the phone might be crap, then yes it probably is and you should consider a deal with the controller. Batteries give around 10 mins flight.
It will work out cheaper than the fly more package but obviously you will still be missing a few bits
You can, but it's far better with a controller, a extra battery is also needed in real life because real flighty time is 12-15 minutes, so you'll want the spare ready
Any links? Thanks.
It's the software and overall experience you're paying for. The smart features are well beyond anything else near this price (except maybe an old used Phantom 3).
Admitted, it's not for everyone, but one of these for £399 is the best price I've seen to date.
I don't see any reason why not and that would bring the price down to £359 which is a very good deal...
There are other foldable ones but not as good as this
