clifton cameras are fine
Amazing price!
Bargain for the combo pack
Saying £579! wasn't at first so must have been a mistake!
I know dji are releasing some new stuff soon but surely this must be a mistake for fly more combo! I’m not complaining as I’ve wanted a spark for ages.
Serious? People DJI stuff is just a rip off! For this price get a custom built quad with frsky controller and goggles. No no no.. these are iPhones for the drone generation! Cold from me.

Can you give us some options, I'd love something better.
Can we we not get them to honour it?
If your looking for a drone have a look here
modify the build and you can have a serious monster..
Had this a week after paying £400 for more fly combo. Seriously good fun and so easy to fly. HEAT !!!!!!

So does that have all of the functions that some DJI drones have, such as return to home, set way points, pre set video capture modes,a 3 axis gimbal, auto land/take off, active tracking, record video in 4K,front/rear and bottom obstacle avoidance cameras, folds up ?

As those are the things that you pay a premium for on a DJI drone.

Nope, that build is for a totally different purpose (racing) so not comparable IMO.

There are some drones that compete in the same market on gearbest, hobbyking etc but but still it is the difference between a hobby and consumer product (more options and cheaper if you know what you're doing but less consumer friendly). RC stuff changes so quickly and keeping up with it is a hobby in itself, and the products themselves are complicated, temperamental, take loads of hacking, configuring, terminology to learn etc. As someone who has been doing exactly that for 25 years, I can still appreciate that there is value in a well tested, documented and polished consumer product. I still don't think DJI are quite at that level as what I have seen has been quite unreliable but definitely a huge difference to the experience of 'building your own racing drone'.

If you want something halfway in between, some of the Blade products are pretty good - consumer RC gear rather than full down in the weeds bleeding edge RC gear. 4k cameras on gimbals are common but i don't anyone is really at the same level of obstacle avoidance and foldable form factor as DJI though. Having said that, the spark doesn't have some of those features you mention either.

I was about to be raging as I had don't a lot of searching to get the FM pack for what I paid for it, thought it must have been a glitch.

Agree. You can pick up a blade chroma on eBay for £100 or so - get one that has the dsmx spektrum receiver. Can then mod it to your heart's content. Love mine, and being spektrum based I dont have to worry about fly ways unlike DJI or yuneecs control systems.

Good point! As I said these are IPhones for the drone generation a lot of the functions you list can be added and if that is what you want.. 4k add a run cam, program way points and return add gps module and so on. These are marmite you are a lover or hater... who repairs these? As when you crash which you will eventually will at some point can you replace frames, motors, flight controllers and the like yourself or do you have to send them away? I don't doubt these are quality products but there are good cheaper alternatives for those who want to get a more flight orientated experience.

The principles and understanding are all in there. You can take what the video outlines and apply it across a whole raft of differing builds. If people buy these ready made drones they are little more than expensive toys. Like you say the DJI is a consumer drone.
