    Incredible film.

    Don't know if this '40th Anniversary Edition' is any different to the original, but I doubt it. (A quick look, but I didn't see any mention of it being re-cut)

    As the story develops, it twists and turns in some very unexpected ways (totally avoiding obvious film cliche) and the acting is incredible.

    I don't know why this film isn't better known... it really, really deserves to be. (edited)

    Had never heard of it but al Pacino has done some great movies and after looking into it find the story interesting so ordered.
