Guess being on the kindle instead of paperback should mean there’s less chance of it getting chewed in protest by dogs reluctant to participate.
I don't even have any dogs, but just in case :D..

Same Here . Best Be Prepared. For me it's only a matter of time I melt when I see them

Doesn't fill me with confidence regarding the content, when they can't even spell obedience correctly on the cover.

As a Professional Dog Groomer i highly recommend taking this book with a pinch of salt and using it mainly as a reference guide and not a replacement for professional dog training.
Thanks, new puppy arrives next month.
My dog can't read, voted cold.
Is it just me, or are there lots of pages missing?
Thanks Boz 🐾🐾

preaching about adopting is all well and good, but bear in mind that rescue dogs are only really suitable for a specific type of prospective dog owner. they certainly aren't good for example homes with other pets or kids

They really aren't, at a guess I would say that whatever dog you want can be found in a rescue somewhere and every dog needs to learn basic commands, rescue dogs are no different and just need a little bit more time and effort.
What makes you think that rescue dogs are for a small number of perspective dog owners?

I looked for a rescue dog before we ended up getting one elsewhere. most rescue dogs don't get on with others (check woodgreens website for example. most dogs on there say they would prefer a quiet home or no other pets etc). they are rescue and that unfortunately usually means that they are likely to have come from a pretty bad life. I certainly wouldn't want a dog around my kids who has had a bad time and could be triggered to go crazy at any given moment by something very specific. of course there are doggos out there which you may well be able to be given a rundown of their background. and i've no doubt that they would make a lovely companion.
don't get me wrong, if it wasn't for the fact we have a young family (and cats) I would definiately have got a rescue dog. but there are plenty of people out there who essentially try to shame you about the fact that you got a dog from a breeder instead of a rescue dog, yet they don't appriciate the nuances of having such a pet.

Like the saying goes, You can't teach an old dog new tricks. 😜😜😜

I know for a fact I will never have a dog, I can't stand them. But just in case.
My 1yr old boy is so naughty think me and him will be giving this a go
Does it work on toddlers? I've seen a documentary recently called 'train your child like your dog' ....
If you dog don't listen, you could try this one too
