Found in my local Lidl

3 varieties, latte macchiato, lungo and cappuccino

I myself have a Nespresso however seen these and thought they might be useful for those who have a Dolce Gusto machine.

I've actually put my machine away for now as I'm so annoyed at the rise in pod prices

Anyone know how the latte macchiato compare to the official nescafe pods?

Yes - they're about half the price
Seriously though - I haven't tried these (yet) as I didn't know Lidl did them, but Lidl stuff is usually very good quality and so compares favourably to 'brands'.
Thanks, OP.
Thanks OP. Another variety to try
Thank you as every time get them up 50p a box in Asda for Dolce Gusto never ever found comparable ones thanx
Thanks, I've also stopped using my due to the cost. At this price I'll try it.

Your Welcome
It's one of the reasons I actually went for a Nespresso machine in the end as there is an endless supply of compatible pods. And I lurve my coffee :P
Just tried them, avoid the cappuccino its watery and milk doesn't froth at all. Lungo is better, drinkable nice crema but pretty weak.

i just returned mine to lidl. Tried the cafepod ones ages ago, they provided the same level of disappointment as the lidl ones. Even if they were 99p I wouldnt buy them.
Yeah I was gonna try the Asda ones but a colleague told me they were pants.
How many in a bag?

If its only 10 its the same price that the originals are often at of £4 a box as there are 16 in theirs. Tried the Cafe Pod ones - they are OK but often £3 for 10 making them more expensive than originals.

The Americano one's are actually lovely and almost as good as the originals.

Just bought some of these Lidl pods tonight so fingers crossed they are equally as good.

Tried the Lidl pods tonight and for for £2.49 they are pretty nice I thought.

Didn't like the cappuccino ones. They tasted a bit processed. But did buy the Lungo too which was ok.

I bought the latte... Prefer the originals but these are ok for the £. Slightly sweeter and not quite as strong but will buy again
I bought the Lungo pack at the weekend, they're not too different to the Preludio pods, maybe a tiny bit weaker but not too noticeable. They're definitely worth the price and don't taste cheap/processed.

The Lungo's and Latte's are 16's, the Cappuccino's are 8's. Same as the originals.
Has anyone tried the cortado pods for the dolce gusto machine? Torn between buying a Nespresso or dolce gusto machine. We have a tassimo at the minute and can't find a decent coffee!

It's as good as original. The cappuccino seems better than original. I'm currently drinking it right now.

16 pods across all 3 varieties.
I just purchased the cappuccino pods to try for my dulce gusto machine and i can honestly say they are actually better than their own brand. I am so surprised and happy as around half the price. I will only buy these from now on. I am a total lover of good coffee and these are just perfect.....

Glad I helped
We purchased Lungo and Late pods from Lidl. At first we thought that they've tasted quite nice until me and my partner both started feeling like we've just had a massive caffeine overdose. We tried watering the Lungo ones down and still felt like it was way too strong to the point you started feeling anxious. Both are going to the bin.
Just recently we having been trying out the reusable pods we bought off ebay - put your own fave blend in and the rest is just the same. Shall continue with commercial pods but the plastic waste was bugging me.
